Nobody feels sorry for you rich spoiled bastards. Freaking utility infielders make 3 million a year. You play a game and and you will never be happy no matter how much money you get. Your union does not honor any other unions work stoppages, yet you want America to understand your plight. We don't. You should be ashamed of yourselves for even entertaining the thought of a strike, and holding baseball fans hostage. That is what you are doing you know.
When you idiots strike just remember how good you had it. This time we will not come back. I know I won't. I will not renew my ticket plan again. Where would the majority of you be without baseball? Maybe in a real union, swinging a sledge hammer on a dock somewhere. If you were lucky. Many of you would still be in your poverty stricken third world country. Where is your loyalty to the fans who pay your disgustingly obscene checks. I hope the owners do not even come close to meeting your demands. It is the uniform and the game that I rooted for anyway, not the players. I will get just as much enjoyment out of the minor leagues. Roll the Dice. You will not win this time. The fans will not be the only loser this time. The game will come back one day, it always does, but most of you fools will be retired.

I agree totally

I agree totally

To All Owners and Players

I am a relatively new baseball fan. Of the four major American sports baseball is my favorite. I am fifty years old and until three years ago I never watched any pro games on a regular basis.

If the strike occurs. I'm gone along with many others never to return. I will NEVER attend a live baseball game or watch one on TV or listen to it on the radio. Nada, Never, Zilch.

I got along just fine not being a fan for the majority of my life.

I will NOT miss you and I will not give the sponsors of your sorry sport the opportunity of selling me because I will NOT return.

On the course!
This hapens every time these clowns do this, and when they come back, everyone says, "Yes!......baseball is back!"

The fans never stick to their guns.

You had a very nice write-up, Smash. I wish everyone felt that way, and these guys would all go broke.

I feel bad for some of the young players who have to follow the Glavines and Schillings blindly into oblivion. Thank god Americas pass time starts soon.
