I really like Oklahoma State straight up this weekend in Nebraska. The ML is +160 and the price is definetely right. The huskers are my team and I have watched them for 20+ years. This team is the worst team they have had in many, many years. The coaching is horrible (there are so many delay of game penalties, offensive movement penalties and poor tackling) this is a bad football team. They have no business being favored to anyone right now. They will be shown up again, just like last week. Years ago it meant something to be in Lincoln, but Callahan and Peterson have effectively reduced the Husker Nation of football to "keeping it close" football. That spells big time trouble for a football team, they have no confidence and they often will wait for the other team to make plays. This isn't even the same team from two years ago, they have no playmakers on the defensive side of the ball. Ruud is trying and Octavien is a player but that is it. I see this game going high in scoring and Huskers falling again in a heap. They are a bad football team all the way around. A sign of a bad team is when the players are looking around like what just happened. Each week they don't adapt after half time like the other team does and it gets worse. If the Huskers keep it close early jump on the second half for Cowboys. Like I said, I love the huskers but the past 4 years are like getting your favorite set of golf clubs driven over by your ex-girlfriend.

Oklahoma St. 40
Huskers 30

Callahan quote after game, "There is no one else that wants to win more than me...."

Wow is that why we are running the ball down by 30 with 2 mins. to go.....

Huskers

Huskers

Been betting the huskers for years now. I don't know what the actual stats are for Huskers overs after an under but I would guess around 80%. The over is going to happen. Last week there were many errors on the offensive side of the ball and Purify's girlfriends death really set him back. I would guess he rebounds for a big game.

If you go week by week, the Huskers usually go under, over, under, over and they alternate like that frequently. Last year, the same was true. This is after a 40-6 loss, an under (over was 68).

Sep 1 Nevada Won 52-10 over
Sep 8 @Wake Forest Won 20-17 under
Sep 15 Southern Cal. Lost 31-49 over
Sep 22 Ball St. Won 41-40 over
Sep 29 Iowa St. Won 35-17 over
Oct 6 @Missouri Lost 6-41 under

The only defense worse than the Huskers in the Big 12 is Oklahoma State.

Over and beyond 40-30
GL to all, I've been watching for years but just recently decided to start posting for fun.

The score last year was 29-41 at Oklahoma State. The line was -5 and the over/under was 55.0.

Nebraska is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Oklahoma State.

Nebraska is not good. Their name sounds good when it comes to cfb. The problem is osu is not good either. both coaches are morons as well. thank god nebraska just extended callahan another few years. people were busting down doors to try and steal that mastermind of a coach. personally i don't really like the game. over is probably the play gl

Neb better be pissed about last weeks loss, plus they are playing w/ revenge this week. Tough spot for Okie St to travel to Lincoln after giving up the win last week despite grabbing a big lead early. Okie St sucks defensively, especially on the road where thay cant tackle. I like the chances of Nebraska outscoring the Pokes by throwing vs. their porous secondary. I like neb by 2 Tds.

Throw the YTD stats out of the window, because IMO Neb's D will prove to be the better of these 2 subpar defensive units.

Thanks for response, yeah, the OSU def. looks bad too. But, at least their coach goes balls to the wall for their players. Callahan looks lost and so do the players. I realize what your saying about the defense but it doesn't matter. They are not good enough to even circle the wagons. They are just that bad.

Thanks again
and I guess well see. I am going large on over and OSU straight up.

You know I hate being this right. :nono:

Callahan is bad, my huskers are done and my pocket book is full but wow! Homecoming and everything!

I know Nebraska has prided itself on running a program the right way for a long time but a change midseason is necessary, the players don't believe and have quit on Callahan. Time for Turner Gill to return and let him have few games of playcalling to boot.

To all who rode this pick, happy spending this weekend. I liked this game as soon as I saw the -4 and I think the KC Chiefs and Bengals will go over as well.

GL all weekend to everyone

Nebraska and A&M

Nebraska and A&M

You know, after I looked at this post again. This week has carbon copy written all over it. Everyone last week thought Okie State was that bad, and they looked like world beaters. A&M will look great in this one as they will go over and cover, they will win outright!

The sad thing is that Callahan could throw the ball down the field about 20 times this game and the crowd wouldn't care if they lost, but he is as stubborn as he is bad!

GL to all this weekend!

:00hour The Aggies did look like the best running team in America. But it isn't because they are, it is because this defense cant tackle and just doesnt use their heads. Bone head penalties, bone head fumbles, and overall holes the size my Grandpa could run through. The Huskers did show improvement in some areas and are now letting the younger guys play. At least this is a beginning for remedying the situation there. However, this year is going to be long and painful for many husker fans. The Huskers are 5 times worse ON THE ROAD! So look for Texas to put a serious BEAT down at home. Huskers are 2-4-1 ATS in last 7 games vs. Horns. Whatever has been wrong with Longhorns they will get right against the Huskers. The only thing derailing any of the spreads is insiders on either team, that is it.
