Opinions on BetJamaica and The Greek?

Hey everyone, I'm looking to switch books sometime in the near future and was hoping I could get some firsthand opinions from any of you who use BetJam or Greek. I've done a little research on both but would like to hear comments from y'all as well. A little about what I'm looking for...

- overnight baseball lines
- 2nd half lines on baseball
- a halfway reliable withdrawal method. I'd like to avoid the whole "waiting three months for a check" if at all possible.
- good signup bonus
- if either of these sites allow you to transfer money from one book to another that would be AWESOME. I have a decent amount in another book and I'd rather just transfer that money than make a whole new deposit.

Also, it says on The Greek's site that you can use E-Check to both deposit and withdraw funds. Is that right??? I didn't think U.S. customers could do that anymore. That's always been my preferred method so if that's an option that would be huge.

Thanks a lot in advance for any light you guys can shed on the subject!

glenn...

i don't bet baseball but can answer some of your other questions.....

i've used olympic for about 7 years & have used bet jamaica for about 3-4 years.

i used both this past year in football.

i deposited money & have gotten withdrawals from both of them via fed-ex...& they paid for the fed-ex fees when i deposited money, but i paid the fees whehn i withdrew my funds....

imo, both are top of the line books that give excellent service.

you can transfer money from one book to the other in a matter of minutes...but they count the transfers as withdrawals, which doesn't bother me.

never had any kind of problem with them & i intend to use them again next football season, along with bet cris (never had a problem with them either).

hope this helps...

good luck.

AR,

Thanks for the detailed response. It definitely helps! You mentioned BetCris, that's the book I'm currently using. Do you know if I can transfer money directly from Cris to either BetJam or Olympic? Maybe I read your response wrong but it looked like you said you had transferred money from BetJam to Olympic, or vice versa. I just want to make sure I can transfer from Cris to those sites as well.

Thanks again for the help. I look forward to your insights during the football season!

one important note: The Greek deals 20 cent lines in baseball, while betjam has a dimeline. For whatever reason, the Greek now requires you to send an ID when you make a withdrawal, which is a major downer for me.

Thanks LB. Very good info, espcially for baseball season. And I don't care what they say about you, you're not a bastard at all! :142smilie

Don't use Olympic for baseball. They're great in all other sports, though. Betjamaica is pretty solid all around. But as was previously mentioned, Oly uses a 20-cent line for baseball; I'd stick with betjamaica or wsex for the summer.

you can transfer money back & forth between bj & olympic....but you won't be able to transfer between those 2 books & betcris.

i believe that books allow transfers only to other affiliated books...ie....same ownership.

if i were you before i deposit money into any book i would ask that book what other books do they allow transfers...

also probably jack & ie could be more specific.

good luck.

5dimes......Betjamaica......two best books on the planet...you'll never have a problem with them.

Cris and Carib are also very good.

Thanks kickserv. I haven't checked out 5 Dimes yet.

JB22,

I won't use Bodog. I've seen and heard of a lot of complaints about them. A few years ago I used them briefly but it was only for about a month. Wasn't impressed and won't be going back. Thanks for the warning though...
