I'm perfectly aware of the dogs that have been barking since Friday especially. And, when I got up this morning I was thinking WF or nothing . But, after looking at a few things, I can not pull that trigger on the Deacons. I think clock strikes 12 on them tonight. here are a few things I looked at:
Offense
Louisville #3
WF #98

Rushing
Louisville #10
WF #44

Pass
Louisville #7
WF #107

3rd down eff
Louisivlle 46.4%
WF 35.2%

Defense basically equal

looked at offensive scores put up by WV and Rutgers

Considering WV started out in typical bowl fashion
and Rutgers rolled, and Louisville record vs ACC.

I think the 30-0 WF win at Fl St was fluke...not saying they shouldn't have won, but saying Fl St was just plain horrible that day.

Then the Gt WF game....wasn't it played in horrible rainy conditions. So I don't place a whole lot of weight in the low score.

I just think there are too many playmakers on Louisville team. And if they have been watching the games, they know what can happen. I think they will be ready, and will want to show that they are as good as Rutgers and WV. Plus the coach likes to score, and I will bank on that tonight.

For me....the clock strikes 12 tonight for this cinderella team WF.

Going against the grain and taking the dd fav tonight for 3 units.

I don't post much at all these days...as compared to most here, just don't have the time.

Louisville -10 3 units

GL what ever you do.

I'm liking the Cards tonight as well by 17+ but simply debating on whether or not to wait a few hours to see if it drops to 9.5 from 10. Think it will? Majority of the boards like the underdog trend to continue, but I simply feel if Louisville gets out of the gate flying and goes up early, Wake will have to play catch up which they would rather not do. I think they want to run the ball and the clock.

First 15 minutes of this game is key.

weather may be a factor which plays into WFs favor. It's not raining right now but sure looks like it will (it was pouring a hour ago). Weather.com says early showers. If its raining hard at 7:45 I'd take a strong look at WF +10 and the under

I thought I saw some 9 1/2's out there, but I play local and it is a 10. The key is for WF not to score first. Actually need two scores from Louisville to go unanswered. That's asking a lot, but I'm going to be asking. Good luck on getting a 9 1/2, I think you can.

Above the Clouds....
I saw the GT Wake game and don't remember if it was raining. I don't think it but it was one of the worst games a have ever seen. Trick plays and all the other crap. After that game I said neither of these teams deserve a bowl. But GT put up a lot of points on Sun:shrug: Still looking (leaning) at Louie. GL

Thanks for the heads up on the weather......will be watching it close up to game time of course. Problem is these days, it's hard to get an eccurate forecast....If you can keep us updated it would surely be appreciated, if you are near there.

I've got Wake +13 and Under 56 in a three-point teaser. I hope the weather is bad, and I cash this. While I was at it, I took OSU -4, and over 43 in another 3-pointer. They pay (+130), and anything over even money I love.
