Am I out to lunch here but isn't the 168 O/U line a little crazy high in this game, anyone have a site or want to post what the average scoring for both of these teams is for the year.

I am not a big believer in average score in college as each team they play differs so much in pace of play but would like to know avg per game points scored.

I would think the total is high.

Correct me if I am wrong or way off here?

OPENED AT 164

OPENED AT 164

and has been run up drastically, I almost bet it over at 167 before I left for the Blue Jackets game, but felt I was getting the worst of it, now 167.5 or better just about everywhere. Gonna pass now.

Thanks Geno

Thanks Geno

after looking at game results this year of both teams, I think over is the play now, they have both been a part of a few 200 point games which is pretty significant.

Thanks for letting me know what it opened at.

That leads me to ask, anyone know of a site that exists, that tells you what the lines were just before the game went off the board. To compare to?

Not that you should take to heart exactly what the coaches say to the press...............

Coach Williams: "We're going to try to get up and down like we have all year. We're going to try to see if our big guys can outrun their big guys and see if we can run back on defense as fast as we do on offense"

Coach Kent: "We will try to run and score off transition, off turnovers and missed shots by Kansas"

Me likey the OVER:D

Thanks for that site, that is a big help, there are alot of games I wish I knew the line after it ended.

A litttle off topic, but was in Tucson recently visiting down from Canada, had a chance to go to Nogales, Mexico.

Don't remember walking across the border back to the US, I must of been day dreaming, oh wait, no it was the five margaritas over lunch and the 12 Tecate's I drank. :D

ddubs, thanks as well, I tend to like the over as well, especially if the game is 5 - 10 point game late, foul fest and the ability to hit the three should push this over.

the over looks like the conventional play today and there is strong support for that..but i'm not to sure you can just look at what the teams averaged this year and assume the over....other intangibles should be taken into account..for instance this is not a home game for either team...so to take home scores into account may skew the total..teams usually score more at home ..etc.. this is not to say you are on the wrong side here...please dont take this as criticism in any way just take a deeper look into the total for this game ...but a lot of good cappers are on the over...good luck today

Just kidding, all thoughts are welcomed here. Just feel like being a little kook with all the tension in the General forum. Staying away from there today. Life's too short. :D

Making me uneasy with so many of you on the under. I thought we were supposed to be  ? :thefinger

Yes, I'm in rare form today. A 2-yr-old and a 1-wk-old, plus sleep deprivation will do that to ya. :D

I do like the 1st 1/2 OVER 80 a great deal. Both teams should be pushing it up the court in the beginning, and if the coaches interviews to the press hold true, it's gonna be every chance they get. Both teams love throwing the rock beyond the arc, and with any luck the 1st 1/2 will be way over 80.

Miles, F Jones, Jackson, Davis all played ball against each other growing up. There should be a little more one on one showboating going on in the 1st 1/2, and tighten up in the 2nd.

GL to ME..........ok ok to ALL :D
