I am going to be out of the office for most of the day. But I am looking for some comments on this Oregon-MSU game tomorrow. This line has gone from 10.5 to 8. I do not understand why people like Mississippi St.? Could someone enlighten me? Am I the only one who likes Oregon out there?

Thanks:shrug:

Ducks wont take a dive after their 11-1 season and a near miss at playing for the national title. Even without Harrington, the ducks are loaded with talent. Jason Fife should step right in for Harrington, and will have one of the nations top RBs to hand off to in Onterrio Smith, a 5'11, 195 pd He also has Keenan Howry and Sammine Parker jr. With six starters on each side of the ball back the ducks will be very strong again.
The visiting Bulldogs are falling fast. after four winning seasons, they have lost five in a row and ended up 3-8. they even lost to troy st at home. Offense was 93rd in yardss and 108th in in points in 2001.
A rout is in the cards Oregon 41- 20

I wouldn't be so quick to jump all over The Duck's. I hate state myself but they didn't loose many players from last yr. And they where alot better than there record showed last yr. Their new QB Fant is a lot better than wayne matkin. I personaly hope they get their ass Kicked but wouldn't be suprised if they play them tough. :)

I took Miss St myself. Mostly because there are two morons in my office who are all over Oregon, told me it wouldnt be close. The more I looked at the game, the more I think Miss St could take it outright. Ducks last year were 5-1 SU at home but just 1-5 ATS.

I bought one when it was at 9, Miss St +10.

As noted, Oregon a great home team but that didn't translate into a great ATS record at home. Brand new QB playing his first game and it's against a tough defensive scheme that I highly doubt he has ever faced before at any level. Miss St had a down season last year...I think they will rebound and have a solid year..Madkin killed the team, Fant showed some flashes during his playing time...Walker is a battering ram...they should control the clock behind him and the big O-line...if it turns into a shoot-out though, they will be in trouble.

only know this

only know this

Dux 1-7 ATS last 8 in Eugene; 1-5 ATS opening at home;--last 5 years 7 pts. or less with Ws

MSU returns 55 lettermen, 15 starters, lost 5 games by 7 or less, 3 in final minute; 25-3 SU in openers since 1974, including 9 straight road wins; 13-0 and 11-1 ATS in first rd. game vs non-conf. opps

And yes I know the Dux are prob better than all opps they've faced ....

I took 9.5 back when

SOMEWHERE AROUND THE S.E.C.
i'm still handicapping this game, so i havent said who i am going with for sure, but 1 thing i can tell you is that, oregon hasnt see the speed like they will see in ms state. ms state will also through a freak defense at oregon like they have never seen before also. joe lee dunn is a master at blitzing.

A guy who sits next to me just told me that the QB for MSU might not play. Anyone else hear that? Any recent line movement out there?

Fant is suspended. Disagreement as to whether Fant is in Oregon or Starkvegas. School will appeal to NCAA in 6:00 conference call tonight. This is a self-reported violation involving Fant purchasing a set of tires with an athletic dept. or booster's credit card.

So where does this leave us now? How high is too high to take Oregon? Opinions, comments? I think Oregon wins by around 3 td's.

I'll take State once the number crosses 10. What about the total? Under looks appealing.
