OK, according to Nate Campbell's manager (I spoke with him today, Thursday) the fight is at 140 pounds. He is adamant about this. He also confirmed that the fight is a 10-rounder. I asked about the fight being at 142 and he said "No, that's wrong."

So, there we are.

My site is having technical problems. The web-hosting company updated all its servers and my site is no longer compatible with the servers. I have a website developer looking into it.

Back to Ortiz-Nate... The Campbell side believes Nate will be too experienced and will break down Ortiz in seven or eight rounds, and they seem very confident about this. I hope my site is up in time for me to post a preview as this is an interesting bout.

graham...aren`t you the one that posted that this would be at 142?...i`m curious where that info originated...

and i`m not being flip when i say that
i`ve never seen a fighter`s promoter/corner bad mouth their own fighter prior to a big fight....it`s certainly not the normal protocol...

anxious to read your write up....

I got 142 from someone at the Golden Boy office that I was put through to, but it wasn't one of my usual contacts so I wanted to double check and I ended up getting Nate's manager on the phone. To me, 142 makes more sense for a non-title fight but Terry Trekas, Nate's manager, said 140 and he has always been reliable with his info. The fight is 10 rounds, not 12, there is no doubt about that.

Graham, I just check your website and it looked ... ah ... "intersting"; do you still have server problems?

I hope your site is back on track soon as I really like to read your articles!

The problem is that the web-hosting company that I use updated all its servers as a security measure and my site needs to have new codes added to catch up with the web-host's upgrade. It is a real nuisance. I can add text (articles) to the site but I cannot upload pictures at the moment. I have a local web designer working on adding the new codes.
