For the odds at 12/1, best bet in that category. Obviously Zeta Jones is the prohibitive favorite for a reason.

If you want to pick up a few bucks, get down on the best play of the entire board which is in Best Cinematography

Road to Perdition +100

Even money to pick up a couple hundred.

Good call on that one, Bender. Conrad Hall died earlier this year, so it wall also have the sympathy vote going for it, but it may have won anyway. I'm on it with you.

I am glad other people like this as well. I posted it at +450 in February (along with a bet on Far From Heaven at +350).

I think Road is clearly the frontrunner now, but Far From Heaven still has a shot.

What do you think of Supporting Actor, Laker? I had quite a bit on Cooper early, then was forced to play Walken back quick, when he shocked at Screen Actors Guild. Right now I profit around $1,000 if Cooper wins, but lose the same if Walken wins. I think it's between those two. I think Cooper wins, but am a little worried. I read somewhere that the Screen Actors Guild winner doesn't have a great history at winning Oscar, so that helps.

Iowa-

I am in a similar position. I was fortunate enough to have someone convince me to take some of Walken at 13 at WSEX before the SAGs to cover my large Cooper position.

Since that point I have bet some more on Cooper as I think he is undervalued and has a 70% chance of winning.

I will lose small if Walken wins, win big if Cooper wins, and lose huge if anyone else loses. But I am cool with that.

I would hold your current bet. Walken isn't worth any more bets.

Let's just hope that Ed Harris doesn't win.

If you are looking for another bet consider going small on The Hours for Orgiginal Score at +200. Far From Heaven also has a shot, but I think The Hours at that price is a good value.

It started at +700 :D

Funny you should mention that. I've got 300 to win 1800 on that one. Thanks for the advice on Walken. I don't really like him as an actor either, so it's easy for me not to play more on him, that's for sure. He's been on the talk shows acting like a blooming idiot.
