I was thinking about taking either one or both of these props...
Oswalt over 5.5 SO's -125
and
Garland over 4 SO's -110

In Oswalt's last 10 he goes under that number only twice (when he had back to back 5 K outings in Sept, both vs Milwaukee)

Garland is a little shakier as he has gone under 4 K's in 4 of his last 10 games.

One note that I think is important is that most of the batters have never faced either pitcher. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but in general, doesn't seeing a pitcher for the first time GENERALLY favor the pitcher???

Should favor the pitcher.

In 5 road playoff games this year the White Sox have struck out more than 5 1/2 times every game. Oswalt is easily the best pitcher they will have faced on the road.

Also just found that the BHP umpire calls an average of 11.9 K's per game...Oswalt has to be good for at least 1/2 that number...nice
