Colorado (-3) vs USC
Starting QB Craig Ochs is doubtful for this game. I like USC here.

Iowa St. at Iowa (-4)
Tough inter-state rivalry. No feeling yet on this game.

Nebraska (-6) at Penn St.
This game is first true test for Huskers. Can the Lions do it in front of 107,000 home fans?

Oklahoma St. (+6.5) vs UCLA
Interesting matchup with UCLA's running game against Okie St.'s inconsistent defense.

Any strong feelings one way or another on these?

Colorado passing game??

Colorado passing game??

What kind of passing game will the Buffs have with Ochs out of the game? I know they can run, but USC can stack the line if his replacement can't throw the ball. USC has a solid defense and a potentially potent offense. Can the Buffs rely solely on the run and win this game?

umm, did you guys watch auburn try running the ball on the trojans. sc made adjustments (went to 8/9 man fronts) at half and qb made wrong reads and had alot of drops by receivers. i've seen this before, you need both (running/passing) to beat a quality pac-10 team. jump on the trojans early before line reaches a -td! plus sc gets rb fargas back this week from hamstring injury...

Could just be me but I'm not sure why Iowa would be favored over Iowa State. My gut feeling is to jump all over Cyclones while still getting over 3 points. Am I missing something with that call??

Iowa St. +3.5 @ Iowa- People are continuing to underrate Iowa St, and Miami of Ohio gave Iowa all they could handle last week.

Ole Miss +4 @ Texas Tech- No one realizes the extent to which Tech sucks this year.

Mizzou -4 @ Bowling Green- Time for some serious payback

UCLA - 7 @ Okie State - they must be kidding. UCLA by just a TD over a team that lost to La Tech? This one could get ugly. UCLA will pass and run on Okie State much more than La Tech.

UTEP +43 @ OU - That line is just so huge it almost has to be hit. I know Kentucky beat them by 60 last week, but 43 points is just monstrous, especially considering that OU can't really play Hybl the whole game (if he gets injured, they're fuhking dead for the year).

Thinking same thing on Ou game....also weather may be a huge factor in Oklahoma this weekend....rain projected....also feel
if OU gets comfortably ahead, they throw freshman in. Hybl ain't
much, but if they lose him they have nothing....look for lots of time eating running....

Think Iowa St. has the fire power to keep this one close throughout against another over-rated Big 10 team (if not win this one outright.) Wallace and company should tear up the Hawkeye secondary. Just look at what Akron and Miami have done so far.

Okla. St. should be up for this game keeping it close through most of the game, but (as they tend to do) they will fade in the 4th qtr and loose this one by 14+. OSU's only weapon is Woods and he hasn't seen corners with the talent of UCLA's.

Just a few early thoughts.
