OU/IU LETS START The Final 4

Having a descent tourney....Lets keep it rollin. Got OU -6 5units. Just feel from watching both play sooners should roll here. Of course if Indiana can shoot like they did against Kent, could be trouble for Sooner backers, but I don't think they can have a repeat perfomance against this more athletic faster OU squad. Well, I'd like to hear lots of feed back on this one. Let me hear something from some IU backers too.

i was an i.u. backer until 2 things where greatly exposed in the kent state win.

1. of course the coverdale injury,even if he plays he may not last long, i.u. is thin in the backcourt. and it showed late with jeffries handling the ball so much.

2. if sampson was smart and i believe he is.i.u. showed a true weakness that okie's speed can capitialize on. half court trap. and pressure the ball the full court by pressing. i.u. had a ton of trouble gettting the ball over half court with coverdale out late in the game, okie can expose i.u. here.

i liked i.u. before the injury now i can't play them. gonna have to get a on soonernation for this one.

Sooners are my play of the year. . . .


Carib has a special line up on Oklahoma laying 10.5 for +190. . . I believe the Sooners will cover this line. . . looking to play the regular line huge and this special line for a normal wager. Still a lot to think about though regarding this special line.

The Sooners look good; I bet them at -5.5 on Monday but if the line hits 7.5 I'd look to middle. Oklahoma has had quite a large number of non-covering wins (10), actually 11 if you count the Missouri game last Saturday which was -6.5 at some places. Its amazing how many tournament games have ended within a point or two of the pointspread.

Still 6' at the two offshores I use. If its 7' at SIA you wonder if its only a matter of time til the other outlets raise the #. OTOH, no way IU shoots 15 of 19 from beyond the arc, and w/out the 3's, its doubtful they can hang. I do think Coverdale will play. He's been nursing injuries for the past two months and played thru them. Gonna keep riding the Gamecock bandwagon in the NIT.

I agree completely. I just cant see IU hangin' with OU. Right now I have Oklahoma to win the title 6 units to win 98!! I really should hedge at this point but I just cant see IU winning this game. Might put enough to at least break even just in case IU wins then hedge big time on Maryland/Kansas winner.
