If OU and Texas win out, this will probably be the matchup.

Wow, would this be fun or what! (for Big12 fans)

4 of top 8 teams right now in Big12 South. I think Tech and Okie State are a little overrated right now but not by a whole lot. I think those 2 teams are 11-15 somewhere.

I also think OU is overrated by about 2-3 spots.

OU needs a miracle to make the title game since they will not participate in the Big 12 conf title game if Texas wins out or loses only one game. They would need USC to lose to Zona or Cal, they would need no one in the SEC to finish with one loss, they would need OSU to beat PSU this week. As we saw in 2006. with Michigan and OSU, pollsters generally will not reward teams that do not win their own conf. Below is a BCS site breakdown of Okies chances:

4. Oklahoma Score: 0.8319
The Sooners are hosed. Oh sure, the BCS might have then hovering around the coveted second spot, and if Penn State loses to Ohio State next week and if Alabama loses at LSU in a few weeks, then OU might even move up to the No. 2 ranking. However, Texas needs to lose twice, or there needs to be a three-way tie with OU being the highest ranked team of the lot, for the Sooners to play in the Big 12 title game, and time is starting to run out. Worse yet, pollsters are loathe to put a team that didn't even win its own division into the national title game.

predicted wins: at Kansas State, Nebraska, at Texas A&M, Texas Tech, at Oklahoma State
predicted losses: None
predicted record: 11-1
predicted bowl: Fiesta Bowl
toughest test: at Oklahoma State

what if other teams go undefeated? regardless i doubt that would happen esp. since there is a Big 12 championship.

That would be a great game; especially for Big 12 fans..... And you mus'nt forget about the only Big 10 team doing anything, Penn St. But........

What if Boise St and Utah are the only two undefeated teams left at the end? (or I would love to see something like that.... And then stick these "pathetic little conferences" against Big 12 and SEC teams and watch them win.... Boise did that already.... hmmmm.

Anyways, I doubt that scenario will happen, but anything is possible. Utah is the only team I think that is 8-0. All other undefeated are 7-0.... I would love to see Utah go all the way and make a stink with SEC, Pac 12 and Big 12 powerhouse Conf.'s and pull a win out and quiet some people that always say, "oh if Boise played anyone or Utah ever matched up against a real team....". Maybe this is the year we will see something like this. And if Utah get's killed they get killed.... But if they go undefeated and win the BCS bowl game they get into, maybe, my hometeam will get some recognition... Long way to go and TCU is in the way.... And FOooocuk BYU. So glad those friends of mine have shut up.

Sorry about the off topic chit, but Im excited about all the variables here and like one of the coaches said from the SEC this year, "No one remembers who was #3 in week 6 or 7 last year or cares. But they sure remember #1 at the end of the year...."

That's the thing about OU - For all the shit that Ohio State gets for dropping some high profile games over the past two years, OU's done worse. Without the Sooners and their past two postseasons, no one would think that a WAC team belongs in the BCS

or that this guy could coach

Voters won't let OU get another chance without a Big XII title
