Given the number of posts I have read, and Policy's and the owner's comments, essentially justifying the reaction of the Browns "fans" yesterday.

1) Cleveland, although you think you are in the playoff hunt, you're not -- don't kid yourselves

2) The refs are human beings, too, despite what people may think

It's great to see the spirit of kindness and good will that seemed to come into this country after Sept 11 has gone away -- we're a lot better off that fans are justified in throwing bottles at their fellow man over the outcome of a football game.

Cleveland is losing because of DRAFT BUST Tim Couch. This guy has shown nothing, and can't handle pressure in the pocket. He also has no mobility, and has about as much heart as Kerry Collins and Elvis Grbac.

i think it's too early to label couch a bust. name one quality skill position player he has played with since being drafted. the answer: not one. johnson is probably the best and he's marginal. everybody else has been pretty low. the o-line isn't great either and it's a conservatively run O.

what do you expect from the guy. he can't do it alone.

and i think the point about people taking sports a little too seriously is valid. that's why it's turned into such a big money thing that the common fan can't think too long about anymore.
