Has anybody seen this part 5 series on Showtime. unreal.. about a HS football star Greg Kelley in Austin actually suburb Leander, accused and convicted of sexual assault of a 4 year old.. its about the investigation and prosecution tactics and his supporters that quest for " truth and justice" . a great documentary .. can't really talk about it but since Showtime put this on the air things that have happened in the past 2 days.. Hard to even comment about it without giving away what happens.. think you have to watch and just sit back .. the director was the same guy that did the documentary on Dave Bliss the basketball coach and the cover up . Bliss who had his players lie and cover-up the murder had landed another job at a small college someplace.. After that documentary was seen Bliss was fired again...
Outcry is so good especially for us that follow sports.. its a 5 Star ***** and 2 thumbs up .. enjoy and watch.. don't forget.. you can't come back here and post ..don't want any spoilers ..

its 106 today in Austin ..are you kidding me.. everyone told me

New word in my vocabulary..triple digits.. 5 day weather forecast on the news last night " its a triple digit week " 101,102,103,101 and 106.. and tomorrow 104,103 and 105..that's 8 days of triple digits. My NY Knicks couldn't score in triple digits all season.. I miss my 5 degree ,windchill of minus 2 weather.. my car frosted over with about half an inch of ice on the car window.. those were the days.. And I bitched about it too.. so I deserve some of this heat our condo has a pool so I go early in the morning and do laps. the pool is out in the open with no shade.. the water temperature of the water in the pool is 86 degrees.. when you get out of the pool there is no chill what so ever.. and this is at 7.00 am I had tickets to Oklahoma vs Army on Sept 28th at West Point..looks like I'm not going to that since Texas c-19 is spiking like crazy ..and when I take my blind and deaf dog out for a walk I have Foxes in the neighborhood.. checking me out..
Triple digits,warm water in pools and Foxes.. think I'm second guessing my retirement .. thank god I have my son and daughter here with my grand children, but my daughter in Philly has a place for me waiting.. and my other daughter who works for Disney in Orlando is still furloughed because her hotel has the 8 NBA teams staying there . And these knuckleheads are comparing her 5 star hotel to a Motel 6.

old school wow can't believe you found that picture awesome maybe I don't miss it as much with that snow plus I shoveled all the snow lol But I miss that house with 6 bedrooms 3 porches over 3,500 sq ft . but all the kids left . it was an "hide go seek " house with the basement and off limits ..and everyone always gave up.. thank you for sharing ,.. maybe triple digits isn't so bad after all:mj07: how are you doing stay safe

Pool water was 92 at Moms Saturday. She has shade over the pool from 4pm on. We got in around 5:30 and when we were done at 7pm, (3 hours of shade) The deck was still too hot to stand still for more than 20 seconds. We had 3 towels. 2 to dry off and 1 to stand on.

This is pretty standard. What isn't standard is the humidity we're having with it. My sweat, sweats. Or maybe they are tears. It's wet.

It hit 108 today ... did break all records ..I remember my wife taking those pictures in front of my house in the snow.. the reason why I covered my face was I was a HS principal and even though being a member of this site didn't want to give anyone any ammunition on me gambling.
If 2 kids were rolling dice in the bathroom I might have to suspend them.. of course they would get a light sentence ..maybe a detention or clean the cafeteria .. I would ask my head custodian and head of the cafeteria if they could use some kids to work.. they always had work for me to give out. I liked dishing out detentions and making kids work. once I had a kid clean the cafeteria and his parents went nuts.. made an appointment to see me.. " we pay taxes and our son isn't cleaning anything up" So I said no problem ma'm ...just tell him the next 2 days he can stay after school for an hour.. I think he works at Burger King right after school so you or him can tell Burger King he will be late.. and I promise you he will never be on a work detail again, I am so sorry .. also lets make sure he doesn;t cut those last 2 periods of the day.. he could loose his driving privilege but I hate taking that away since he has an after school job... thank you guys for coming in and making me aware that he isn't on any work detail Again I'm so sorry..
the next morning that kid was in my office before school started and was asking me to please Mr Box my parents don't mind me working cleaning the cafe.. I told him no problem.. have your mother or father call my secretary and ask for permission to clean..
And I wonder why I miss being a principal ... :mj07:
