Mets o/u will be close. Think you have the right side of it though. will take a while for that teams pieces to fall together and that division will beat each other up all year.

Hate your mariners play as well as tzu. Beltre will be a bust. He had his contract year. Will take him a while to get adjusted to American league pitching and he is not a quick learner. Their outfield has ZERO power. Randy winn is a buster, Jeff Reed is a rookie, and ichiro will hit .350, but no one will drive him home. Boone is too old, Richie Sexon is coming off a year off due to injury. Miguel Olivo is on the other side of above average behind the plate. In 50 games with seattle last year he was one hit away from batting under .200 Everyday eddie is ok as a closer. But the rotation of Meche, Moyer, Pinero, and Franklin strikes fear in no one. Bobby Madritch is a nice young arm, but he cannot carry that rotation yet.

mets will be a winner. they are consistent losers and have a huge payroll every year and find ways to let their egos get in the way. i'd be surprised if they hit .500 this year. think you'll win by a good 5+ games on the mets wager.

Think the Injuns over is the best one. Perhaps I am delusional, but feel Milwaukee wins around 75 games or even better.

Just to be difficult, I don't really see Cleveland winning 84 games this year. I think both the Tigers and White Sox are improved, and the Twins will be tough as always. On the other hand, I think they all take advantage of the Royals - they may not win 50 this year.

And for the homer play - Jays should manage at least 71 this year - I think this year's club is better than last year's, but then again, it's spring, and we're all pennant winners at this point.
