very new to posting, but i check everyone's takes daily. here are my thoughts on the pitt/raven game. initially, when the line came out, my thoughts were, wow, 6.5, i'll take the points. but as the week has gone on, i revisited my original thoughts and reminded myself of the famous line "if it looks too good, don't bet it".
what i am more interested in, is the over/under for this game. i took the under big last week in the mia/balt game and won easily. i see much of the same this week as both d's will be up for the task. here is my reasoning for not loading up on the under thus far. pitt, in its last 7 games, has gone over the posted total 5 times. now, is that because they had the playoffs locked up? or because they were playing teams like detroit, cincy and the browns? were they trying to convince people that they can't just focus on bettis? one of the overs, of course, was against baltimore 26-21. i had that game under as well and got killed.
i want to see what everyone else has to say regarding the over/under. right now, i am still leaning to the under.
