Desperate times call for desperate measures. Need to pass this exam to begin my new career path. Wish I was a better handicapper. But you do what you have to do. Do any agents out there have any advice as to what study course or materials I should use and how many hours should I study to pass. Also any test takng tips would be welcome. Thanks.

WHy isn't your company sending you to a 3 day prep course on Life/Health as well as your state test. I fyou were adding P&C it would be a week long course I believe.

It has been awhile, but I am not familiar with a company not setting something up like that with you. IT is imperative you take the course, as they set you up in a test world environment, which you will need to be in when taking those exams.

When I started in the business, this was the first test I had to take. We were paid to basically study at the office all day, and we had 2 weeks to study for the exam. Just read the book, and when taking these tests, always take as many practice exams on the computer you can. You will see many of the same questions on the test. If you need a 70 to pass, you should be making at least 75 on all of you practice exams to be able to pass the test. Good luck, and what will your job be, insurance agent?, or are you planning on being a financial advisor?
