I will be in Vegas Friday and Saturday,,, Ballys sportsbook all day saturday watchign my plays. Last week i took the week off to start looking at this weekend. Two weeks of research and studying for this weekends plays:

UCLA at SDSU SDSU +14 11AM ESPN2
why sdsu covers: Besides a huge crowd on Marshall Faulk bobblehead morning in San Diego, Air Craft has his offense in high gear. 1000 yards of passsing in last two games at Idaho and vs Arizona St. No way Manning and the rest of the Bruins secondary slows down the passing attack in san diego.
how the bruins can cover: Running the ball is a must and keeping the ball away from sdsu. SDSU has a poor defense and that would explain an 0-4 start. UCLA neeeds to create tunovers

bottom line: Cory Paus has no arm and sucks as a qb, SDSU beats the Bruins 41-38....HAMMER the 14 points....I cant see UCLA winning this game


Stanford at ASU ASU -1.5 12:30 ABC

why ASU covers: Besides home field advantage and an expected on field temperature of 130 degrees at kickoff in tempe, QB Andrew Walters is finally 100 percent and starting. Candiadate is now the starting tailback and everyone knows the roles on the team. Stanford has one player from the defense that beat asu is stanford last year returning. ASU will light up the scoreboard

how stanford could cover: Teyo Johnson, Teyo Johnson, Luke Powell. Recievers are sick and huge. 6"7 Johnson can destroy the ASU secondary. SDSU Tolliver did to asu there last game. Teyo should do the same.

Bottom line: ASU wins in a shootout becasue they have more depth on both sides of the ball then the Cardinal. ASU is getting some bodies back at WR, and CB for this game. The heat will casue Teyo some problems and Chris Lewis' health is a question mark. Play ASU

Ore St at USC OSU +3
I am not going to play it.....but i would play OSU, if i did. OSU is still an unknown commodity. I think this game is close and goes to OT

Idaho +30.5 at Wash Idaho +30.5
Yes I LIKE IDAHO A LOT HERE....They have played a quality schedule already....they beat a good offensive club in sdsu last week. huskies usually play down to the opponents level. Idaho has the talent to hang around and maybe just maybe a victory in seattle. Wash wins this game 35-24

no play....nice schedule arizona, northern arixonz and north texas..at least they played wisco

Gesser doesnt play wsu doesnt win. Boller is great at qb...but his recievers cant keep droppping passes...wil update this for you later...

Watch out on the SDSU game. If you lose to Idaho while your QB throws for 6 TDs and 0 ints, you have some major defensive issues. I cant back them the rest of the year because of that. They really burned my last week, and they let that offensive powerhouse Idaho run all over them. In the ASU game, Walter came in at QB down 22-0 and threw his first pass for 72 yard TD, and his next pass for a 22 yard TD. Their offense is awesome, but their defense is worse than their offense is good.

i totally disagree with your pick of sd st. the aztecs play right into bruins strengths... bruins just played a tough, season big 12 team. big drop-off in talent, no comparison. plus sc will be beavers biggest test, trojans cover.

first of all asu defense is not as bad as you say....any defense with terrell suggs and jason shivers in it are solid unit. They are moving a safety to the cb positon for Stanford...the d is fine...

as for sdsdu...i have seen them play 3 games this year,,,in person vs asu. the offense is flat out good. They should have beaten asu, and idaho. the idaho game was a bad loss, but it was away. SDSU is fightging for respect...and an 0-4 team should be and a win over UCLA is desperatly what this team needs, They believe they can win...and might, UCLA is in a lose-lose situation, They win this game, so what, they beat an 0-4 team. I f they lose, it is good ridance season and coach toledo. Saying all this I am a UCLA fan believe it or not, and I do not like SDSU at all, but from a foorball standppoint, ucla wil lose this game, i hope i am wrong and sdsu covers the 14 but loses the game, unless i do a moneyline, which im thinkgin about.

I am up many units becasue of the cal/baylor game earlier in the year, i wagered my half my account on cal. Usual start for me to the college season, usually have one bad week, nad thats happened already, usually pick up a lot of steam come start of conferance play...which begins saturday....

no additional plays for me this weekend as of yet

cingrats to all you ucla backers. I learnedhat sdsu is amongst the worst teams in the country...that they are 0-5 and wouldnt be shocked to see some shakeups...not with new coach, but with personal and players

to all those ASU backers..it was quite a thrill to see Walters arm working agani and Candidate run the ball as well as he did as only a freshman. this team only going to get better, and that is scary. could be the best team in a very solid conferance....without any true superstar teams in the conferance..

i guess i should start posting my picks, i had an awesome day again ucla, sc, hawaii, sj st. and i took hellah's advice on ball st. 5-0. bgold13 i told you bruins wouldn't have any touble w/ aztecs, it was like a home game for them... sc defense is for real! i think your power ranking is right at top but 5-8 is still undefined by this years performances. ucla will have alot of trouble with physical teams, like sc, arizonaand washington.
