I saw a lot this past week..especially how strong this conferance is. I thought it would be worse...

Plays: summaries by time follows...a write up on all the games in the pac-10 is listed....

Biggest Ore -13
Idaho +26.5
Cal -12.5
UCLA -7.5

Thursday Or St at Temple osu by 9.5 Fox Sports Northwest

Oregeon St. A make or break game for the Erickson regime. Do not quite understand the logic of traveling to Pennsylvania or wherever Temple is to play an inferior opponent. OSU may struggle moving the ball..especially early. I advise a no play for now...but have a small OSU lean on anything below 10

Saturday

Fresno at Oreg UO -13 12:30 PST FSN

My favorite play of the week.Fresno is not a very good team this year. Ore may be one of the best. Fresno almost lost to a PATHETIC SDSU team that lost its best player from the year before to the raiders. Fife looked great thanks to his weapons around him. FS may be a good D....but at Autzen... This is my play of the week.. Take UO -13

Stanford at BC BC -8 12:30 ESPN2
I wont bet this game becasue I lost my ass on this matchup lat year. No Willinghmam at Stan and the Cardinal QB is not playing this game. I wouldbet BC but I wont because this game bothers me to even think about

SJSU at Wash Wash -30 12: 30 PST

Line is right on...Don't touch..SJSU is awful this year....and Wash is pissed

Idaho at WSU WSU by 26.5 2:00 PST

Take Idaho.. WSU did not impress me last week and after seeing the video of them..they in fact do not look like the same team that came out a blazin last year. They win this game by three td's

NMSU at Cal CAL by 12.5 2:30 PST kron-tv local bay area only

Cal made my bankroll last week....and is the Jeff Tedford era at California a success already.. I mean c'mon they equald last uyears win total in game 1...2 game winning streak on the line against New Mex St who has been known to go on the road in the pac and knock off some teams...last time was a 35 to 7 victory at ASU two years ago...I am curios to see where the money is on this game... I think Cal will stop the option and force NMSU to pass... For this I am going to play Cal

UCF at ASU ASU -4 7:00 PST Sunshine Network (on Directv)

Temperatures in Tempe will be 100 at 7:00 kickoff.UCF is worried about cramping. It doesnt cool off in Tempe at night. Can anybody form an opinion on ASU yet? Is the ASU D that Great??? Is the ASU Offense that Bad??? Will UCF have another terrible 3rd quarter?? I know ASU has not opened up the playbook yet on offense... I just cannot see a team coached by Dirk Koetter being that bad offensivley... Last year they averaged over 35 points a game at home...UCF wont run on ASU...and this will be ASU's Pass D first real test.. UCF is sold...with Gabriel at WR!!Wow is he good....but ASU has seen some of thebst WR last year.. Schneider needs to be on at QB for UCF...I see a very very very entertaining game..with too many question marks.. No Play
We will see how the earlier games go..If ido bet :)

CSU at UCLA -7.5 7:15 Fox Sports Net

Hmm...letdown???? Bruins first game....Bruins usaually do well early in the year.. Can they stop Sapp?? NO....But they can contain him... Take UCLA

If anyone knows if the games in which I do not list a tv broadcast for a game is on tv...let me know please

i'm playing oregon st. -10 basically because of talent difference. know all about temple being better this year, but they need a long way to go... what i would like to know is if franklin field is on natural or artificial grass?
also like cal to easily cover the 2 td's vs. nm st. same for oregon vs. fresno st. easy $$$.
stanford will lose to b.coll.-8 b.c. is better than what they showed last week, ucla will have their hands full 1st half but cream always rises. colorado st. will struggle on defense with bruins young playmakers: manuel white rb. tab perry wr. marcedes lewis te. game will go back and forth because bruins will need about 3q to get going... like az st. game vs. ucf to be a high scoring game, over is my play!

I also pay particular attention to the PAC-10 bgold. Hope you dont mind if I tag along. I circled these:

Stanford
Love the P-10 plus pts. It's a scoring conference! Think the Cardinal still have smart players even w/o Willingham. I believe/hope they will use his departure as motivation this season! Although BC has a game under their belt, I think Stanford will provide much more resistance than UConn for a full 60m.

UCLA
A pedigree pick! I love Sonny Lubick, but, I think it will be hard for the Rams to not letdown on the road after a hard fought win over their instate rival. Remember last year when UW had to travel to Miami after beating WSU -- they got hammered! I think the Bruins will take full advantage of catching CSU on an off night!

NMSU
It will be like night and day for Cal after facing Baylor. That game may do more harm than good for this program. They might think they actually did something by beating that sorry ass team. It wouldn't have been a pretty sight to see Cal @ South Carolina for their first game. NMSU played damn well v the Gamecocks, especially on D! I think Cal will need 35+ pts to cover in this game & I dont see it!

I will more than likely piggyback your Oregon pick!

I think Ore is my best bet at 13...but anything 14 I would be leary..I still think they could blow them out...but the money is seriously on Ore for this game..and that scares me

As for UCLA...Bob Toledo has announced taht Cory Paus will only play 3 quarters at QB..and a true freshman will play at qb in the 2nd quarter regardless of the score. Either way I think the Bruin defense will contain Cecil Sapp and I do not see CSU passing very well on UCLA

bgold- where are you from? used to live in Malibu couple of years ago.

Any way, Boston College will win and cover. Reasons, no Lewis, new coach, poor D, major revenge factor for BC, 1st game of the year for Cardinal, and the public is going to bet the Cardnial based on how BC played last week. UCONN is not that bad this year.

Good point about possible let down by Col State but they have two games under their belt and I disagree I think they will be up again against the boys in baby blue. First game for the Bruins to get the kinks out against a non-conference foe. Coaching edge definitely to the Rams, think it will be a close game so I am taking the touchdown.

Yeah I guess for those who are unfamiliar w/ Calabasas, Malibu is ok, but come on BG rep the Coyotes!!!!! Anyways damn sportsbook.com has none of the MAC games this week, or the ASU UCF game, however last night I took OSU HUGE vs Temple. Didn't Temple get the boot from the Big East?!?!?!?!? I mean $hit, I know OSU is not as good as they were 2 years ago, but I think you and I can find 9 other dudes, or chicks for that matter on this board and we can got to Philly and beat the crap out of Temple. That play definetly will make Sunday NFL more enjoyable for me:toast:

Chenker,
UCONN is not that bad this year.

And Stanford is?
The Tree has better speed & talent at every position than UConn. Stanford has most of their experience on the OL & a FB w/ 33 starts. Pressure shouldn't be an issue. If they can keep BC honest w/ the run, it will be hard for BC to rattle the young QB for the Cardinal.

New players on D doesn't necessarily make them poor. The BC running game (34-108 yds O TDs) was poor v the Huskies. Subtract 2 comps to start 3Q (79 yds & a TD), & Eagles pass game was 17-31 163 2 TDs, 2 Int's.

BC coach had his team practice early Sunday morning, according to radio reports in Vegas, to get this team focused on Stanford. An extra day of practice after a win had to piss off some players!

ASU vs UCF Wheather Advisory:

from noon till midnight...tempe, az is on a flash flood/thunderstorm warning....those of you unfamiliar with phoenix september wheather...it may pour buckets of water for 15 minutes consecutive...and cool down the temperature to about 85 for awhile...may affect the UCF passing game
