It's always three or three-and-a-half.

An obvious homer call, but I see a nice double digit GB win.

Thoughts?

the bears wont win another game
and
should i buy playoff tix for the packers

the only two recurring thoughts i've heard for 3 weeks

the bears wont lay down (unless the eagles lose to the queens and even then i still see them playing) and really have little pressure on them. lovie is 8-3 vs gb and takes the game pretty seriously.

3.5 sounds about right....be intersted to see if they flex it to the sun night game and screw both teams who may face each other the following week in a wild card game (and prob get stiffed with the early sat game)

I was wondering what you were thinking. Iforgot about the Bears possibly resting players. Green Bay could be favored by more than 3.

if Bears rest players then it could move to 7 no doubt.

Packers need this game more than the Bears

no way GB will be favored by 7

it will be a Pick or Chic -2 or -3

This game will NOT be a pick or CHIC favored by 2 or 3....I will bet myhouse and paycheck that GB is favored in this game...To say Chix will be laying points to a solid GB team in lambeau is ludicrus..No idea what will happen in the game butGB is the fav GUARANTEE...

Oh ok...Didnt realize u thought it was in Chicago...If Philly wins the bears will have to try and win to secure 2nd seed...

if pack win which they will easily they turn around and play bears at chicago. same scenario as last year for packers. Bears don't need and will not be concerned about major effort in this game. If they get down will probobly rest starters play a vanilla game and get ready for game that counts. Packers win by double digits but so what good game to play favorite here.

you do realize the bears control their own destiny for a bye and might still be alive for a 1 seed???

win and they're in the 2nd round....lose and they must play in round 1.

sounds like motivation to me.....now, if the queens beat the eagles tues then you are correct....however, if the bears didnt care about the 2 or 3 seed then they would have mailed in today's game as well....but they didnt.

right now, the only team with no motivation next week is the pats (and maybe chiefs as they are locked into a 3 or 4 seed no matter what) with atl possibly being in the same boat as ne pending tomm game

I realize that but they are playing a team on the road who has to win to make playoffs. I expect packers to jump all over them like they did against giants. Bigger picture for bears is playoffs. They will just play out the game, avoid injuries and be as vanilla as you can. Though they would like to win its not happening and it will be best for them to get out of dodge and fight another day.

I don't think it will matter if the Bears need to win or not. The last time these 2 teams played they called a team record 17 penalties on the Packers. The Packers want to revenge for that game. Packers win this game. Bears in the back of their mind they know their going to the playoffs.
Eagles win there last 2 games they will be the 2 seed.
Bears will be the 3 seed after they lose to Green Bay.
Highly possible for the Bears and Packers to meet in the 1st round at Chicago. and the Bears Fans don't want that.

mix up..think he was 8-3 vs favre...now 9-3

8-5 vs packers is correct...think he's 4-2 in green bay (losing the last 2)

again....if anyone is taking the angle that the bears will mail this one in and wont care if the win/lose, play it vanilla, etc......that's completely absurd and 100% wrong (unless the queens beat philly on tues)

a #1 or #2 seed is on the line
against the packers
they wont hold back, rest or lay down

now......that's not to say gb wont win, cover and wont be up 30 at half....but that wont be the bears mentality or game plan at all.

its human nature the seed has been planted its in the back of their minds. They are playing this game knowing they have a couple of aces in their back pocket. Once down the thought becomes reality. They are not getting #1 seed unless falcons lose last 2 games. They know all the scenarios.
