As a life long Packer fan and season ticket holder, We Packer fans have been fortunate to have had Brett Favre as our QB for years as other teams ran thru their revolving door of starters.

He was frustrating to say the least at times, and NEVER boring. He won games he should have lost and lost those they never should have. Won one Superbowl and should have won a second had they rode that horse Dorsey Levens in the 2nd half vs Denver.

That being said, and I mean this in the BEST way. Aaron Rodgers right now is on such a zone of his own, it is almost boring to watch. A Rod had what seemed like an average game at best for him lately. We actually saw pressure on him and get some happy feet.

The defense showed signs of life. This is scary, I think that Packers played AVERAGE offensively against a NOT terrible Viking team and they win 45-7? If the defense plays well and gives the offense a short field, they will not be beat...

I will not get tired of watching this boring stretch. 16 games and counting. Blessed to be a Packer fan right now!

remember pats in 07

same story, different team...

hopefully different ending for you packer fans...

but i agree, packers are clearly at a different level then all the rest currently...cant slow em down....

i will agree with favre though about one thing, man does rodgers have so many parts around him. not only the 63 receivers he can throw to, or the monster tightends, but his O-line protects him for days.....

alot of people are in love with rodgers, and what he is doing, which is all very good and deserved. the man is amazing right now...

but i think if you put brady, brees, peyton (when healthy) on that same team with all the same parts, i think we are seeing similar results....

rodgers is for sure amazing, but the entire offensive unit is much more impressive as a whole...

once again, congrats to your team, and hope they continue the run for ya, we could be seeing history for sure....

Packer fan as well here, and though I don't strongly disagree with anything the OP is saying, I still think the smart money (prop-bet-wise) in on the Packers not going undefeated... even if you have to give some odds for it. (For what it's worth, this isn't primarily a homer or anti-homer based pick... just logic.) :toast:

I do not believe undefeated either. I think they lose at the Giants.

Where it is real F ing COLD
Packers are playing great and Rodgers is out of this world. I would say that Favre had to play against much tougher competition.

Now you say the Vikings are not a bad football teram? What is your rationale? Is it because of Peterson and Allen? Cause that is basically all they have..

On the course!
Not only do the Packers have a chance to lose a game, they can easily lose a couple, AND home field advantage in the playoffs, IMO.

I remember the "07" Pat's as well. I had a futures bet on them early in the season to win it all. And then Eli somehow escapes a sack, and David Tyree catches Manning's pass off of his noodle! I almost hope the Packers lose one during the regular season so they don't get too complacent. If you watch/wager on games long enough, you understand that very weird, unexpected things can happen at anytime. (see this week in college football) But for right now I'm lovin' the ride! :em71:
