Are there any other boxing bettors on this forum? I put down two units on Pacman Pacquiao over Bradley. Counter punchers are the type of fighter that gives Pacquiao problems. Counter punching is not Bradley's strength. Rematches usually follow the same flow and tempo of the original fight. I saw that fight and I think Pacquiao won that fight pretty easily. I think Pacquiao beats Bradley again. This time he will get the credit for it. I have Pacquiao -230 for two units.

i hope so...i have two pars riding with manny as the kicker...

i basically agree.......and i would tend to agree with bradley`s assertion that in a close fight, this time pacquaio will probably get the nod....he won a razor-thin decision vs provodnikov(and took vicious punishment in the process)after somehow getting the nod from two blind judges in the first fight with pacquaio....he legitimately beat marquez(even though he did it without throwing many punches...he basically jabbed his way to a win)........that jab won`t be very effective here vs a lefty...he`ll have to be much more busy.......

bradley`s no dog...it`s a competitive fight..but he`s been living a charmed life.....the one thing that is concerning is that manny`s last fight was vs a wooden indian(brandon rios...an absolute walkover)...bradley`s speed could be quite a shock to the system after fighting a mannequin like rios....

..but manny and roach are old pros...hopefully it won`t be an issue...

manny might be rejuvenated going back to working with justin fortune and bringing in new sparring partners

first thinking desert storm for rematch but flipped, thinking manny splatters bradley

tim don't have enough to keep an aggressive manny off of him

pac by KO6

I like your knock out prediction. I don't think this fight goes the distance. I think Bradley is going to stand toe to toe with Pacquiao and slug it out with him. Bradley knows his decision win last time was garbage. He received poor treatment after that win. He wants to prove that he is better than Pacquiao. He wants to win decisively in this fight. I think Bradley knows that he won't win a decision victory if the fight is close. So, I expect him to go toe to toe with Pacquiao to try and get a KO win.

based on the punishment he took vs provodkikov,i see why some people might lean toward a stoppage...personally,i`m leaning toward manny by decision because he hasn`t shown much of a mean streak in the twilight of his career......i thought he could have(and should have) finished rios, but,i get what you guys are saying...

Someone please talk me out of this prop bet. I'm looking at Timothy Bradley to win by KO,TKO or DQ at +850. I don't like the bet, but I think this bet has value. I was watching face to face hosted by Max Kellerman and I didn't see any fire in Paquaio's eyes. Bradley looked like he wants this fight more than Paquaio did. Paquaio got knocked cold from a right hand right down the middle against a slow and declining Juan Marquez. Then Paquaio takes a long layoff and couldn't put away a mediocre Brandon Rios in a tailor made tune-up fight. I think Paquaio talked more about religion than the fight in the face to face series on HBO. I wouldn't be shocked to see Bradley catch Paquaio with a good shot and drop him for a TKO win. +850 on a Bradley TKO/KO looks very enticing to me. Any thoughts?

bradley looks built like a tank, but that hasn't translated to devastating power, he slaps

it's usually the wiry guys who have power like trinidad, de la hoya, hearns

imo bradley by ko is the least likely outcome

why don't you bet the under?

if bradley headbutts manny and the ref calls the cut by a punch, then the +850 will come through much more likely than bradley decking pac

I agree that Bradley isn't a strong puncher. My two unit bet on Pacquiao is already down. I'm not going to bet against myself with a Bradley bet. I was surprised that the Bradley KO/TKO bet was at +850 considering that Pacquiao has shown some vulnerability in his last few fights. He lost to Bradley and got KO'd by Marquez. He beat Rios pretty handily, but I consider Rios subpar competition. The old Pacquiao would have knocked a stiff like Rios out within three rounds. I don't think Pacquiao is the same fighter that he was 3 or 4 years ago. My original thought was a Pacquiao win and I'm sticking with that play.

Just an FYI the Bradley win by KO/TKO/DQ line is now down to +701 at Pinnacle. I knew the +850 line was too high. Sure the Bradley by TKO/KO result isn't likely to happen, but gambling is all about price. It's risk vs. reward. If I'm playing poker and my opponent has a better hand than me, I'll put money in the pot to try and outdraw him if the pot odds warrant the call. I'm not likely to win that particular hand, but I will win in the long run.

I put one unit on Jose Felix Jr -345 over Bryan Vasquez. They are fighting on the Paqcuiao/Bradley undercard. -345 is a lot of chalk, but I think Jose Felix wins pretty easily here.

hedge with a parlay jessie vargas and vasquez

steve kim says he's seen vasquez in the gym, very fluid, just has to put it all together

khabib, the opponent of vargas is somewhat limited, vargas is the top rank house fighter

I'm not afraid of Vasquez winning. I have seen Jose Felix Jr fight and he has quick hands and quick feet. I don't think Vasquez puts it all together against Jose Felix. I have seen two of Vasquez's fights. I will tell you Jose Felix is the quicker fighter with his hands and feet. Jose moves in and out well and moves side to side well. Jose Felix is also a top rank fighter, while Vasquez is promoted by IBOP. I don't see any way Vasquez wins a decision against Jose Felix. Vasquez will have to knock Jose Felix out to win.

I might bet Vargas straight up. I haven't decided yet. Thanks for your input. You have good boxing knowledge.

again amazed at the absolute cluelessness of judges like patricia morse jarman....

her and the other blind mouse were basically saying that vasquez/jose was basically an even fight short of the point deduction?.....

good grief.....

Wow, was I wrong on Jose Felix. He got his butt whipped tonight by Vasquez. Vasquez dominated Felix. I'm totally embarrassed by the bet. No more predictions from me.

take it as a lesson learned

apply to a spot in the future

you should be able to eventually nibble the money lost back, but probably not all at once
