Last year we got some of that fungal brown patch on my lawn. I'm talking with a new service and this is what they had to say:

"We can treat preventatively for Brown Patch, however, the very best stuff on the market only last 28 days. To treat preventatively we would need to treat in May (usually mid to late), June, July & August. Each treatment would be $95. The cost is so much more than the normal treatment cost because the product that keeps the fungal spores from developing is a lot more expensive."

My question- is it worth preventative treatment or should I just wait to see if it crops up and spray when it does? Does getting it last year increase the likelihood of getting it this year?

Thoughts on what they recommended?

Thanks :0074
