was thinking about hammering the whitesox tonight and would like the board's opinion.

I think they end losing streak at 3 tonight back at home. Jon Garland (4-2, 6.25 ERA) is 1-0 with a 2.75 ERA in three home starts this season.

garland absolutely smoked by rangers batters, so despite the team advantage, and probably situational adv., no way can I take them with garland on the mound...

Used the Rangers in almost every par I have, White Sox have issues right now, last thing they need are the Rump Rangers and their Long Balls coming to US Cellular Field.

WS 19-6 at home nothing to sneeze at. Also scoring just short of 6 at home and (as above) 6 against righties. Ranger pen makes the WS pen look like world beaters.

True story you guys might get a kick out of that I heard during last years season. As you may know, Garland didn't pitch up to White Sox (organization AND fans) expectations until last season. And naturally, evryone especially the press wants to know what gives. In his interviews, he ends up saying he talks to his mom CONSTANTLY about what's going on with his pitching. I'm talking mechanics, mental state, form, everything. She gives him advice on what to do and I believe he follows it.

congrats to all TX bettors

Can't really blame this on Mamma's Boy Garland.

Thome's replacement went 2/4 with a rbi so not that either.

Think I will have to consider doubling up on Sox tomorrow night as tonight's loss equals longest losing streak of season.
