I am reluctant to go with my gut and bet the Panthers (-10) because the Bucs have shown that they are capable of beating good teams (Bengals, Eagles) and hanging close with others (Panthers earlier this season and New Orleans).
The spread seems awful high for a medicore Carolina offense, but I'm depending on Tampa Bay's sputtering offense to stall early, thus giving Carolina the ability to set up the deep ball by pounding Foster early, then hooking up with some play action passes to the extremely explosive Steve Smith.
Carolina desperately needs a win tonight and I see them making a statement at home by stomping the Bucs and getting their season back on track with a big W to put them over .500.
