nope, no longer a sponsor. they signed up though some internet marketing agency and, i guess, didn't get much biz from here. who knows........some do very well and some don't.

i don't like dealing with agencies anyway. i prefer to deal with the owners in case of problems. know what i mean?

Party Poker has grown too big for its britches in my opinion. No customer service anymore, terrible uptime, no responses to emails or phone calls. Mike Sexton had a good thing and tried to grow too fast too soon. Freeze you play anywhere else? PokerStars is still my choice.

I play at paradise and enjoy it. I have never played anywhere else on-line for real money, so I don't have any comparison, though.

dude you oughtta get on partypoker.....i play very low limits -- 1$/2$ short handed/3tables simultaneously and make about 30$/hour

i paid for a pretty sizeable engagement ring and nice wedding band and now a considerable amount going to Hawaii from this website

not to bad for a poor med student ;)

wareagle--at paradise, I have had most success at the $10-$1 NL Hold 'em tourneys. $20-3rd; $30-2nd; and $50-1st.

Paradise has the $5 tourneys as well, but the rake is still $1. I feel better paying the buck for a chance at $50 instead of $25.

yeah wareagle....don't play 5$ tourneys or you are gonna lose over the long haul....play 10$ ones cuz juice is 10% instead of 20%

paradise has better tourneys IMO because pot increments increase slower....however, over long run this hurts a guy if he is a good player because tourneys take longer and solid play means more at upper limits than lower limits....plus the play at partypoker leaves a LOT to be desired...

I play tight passive in the first few rounds than play tight aggressive after that NL....its a good formula for tourneys because you always get idiots who will put all in after flop if they got top pair and sometimes you can steal it with a higher pair, two pair or a set and double your $$ pretty much guaranteeing placing

anyways, let me know if you want to join party poker cuz we both get $$ added to accounts if friends are referred

Just played in a great tourney. Finished 3rd for $20. Got beat with QJ suited vs 10J. He finished with A high straight. Overall, it was one of the better tables that I have seen. Couple of quick-outs, but that's going to happen every time on the lower level tourneys. I love it when it comes down to three players! It's all bonus from that point.:D

not all bonus...thats a misperception and thats when playing good poker will win you $$$

cuz LOTS of other people play like they are content and aren't as sharp after they know they are in the money...
