It will be very interesting to see what the ratings will be for this HBO flick:thinking:

Top notch post there Scrapman, trying to correlate child rape to homosexuality, very classy, you should be very proud of yourself.

It might be interesting if it does indeed show that he knew and how he kept it under the rug so long.

The movie showed that Paterno knew all the way back in 1976.

I thought it was very well done, 8.5 outta 10 for kickserv.

I wonder what PaSprint thoughts were on this movie:mj03:

People who live in or support Creepy Valley will not be swayed by facts. There is still a lot of them that fight to get the Paterno statue replaced. These are sick, sick people who choose a football program over kids getting raped.

Think about that for a minute.

I just saw Paterno yesterday.
I didn't follow the (original) story closely so I can't comment on historical accuracy, but I thought the film started well--good acting by Pacino (go figure)--leaving me with the impression that coach Joe either knew very little or had only heard some rumors second-hand; sort of like a tribute to Paterno or almost an apologetic, if that's the right word.

Film got stale in the latter going, regardless.
Pacino saves the film, for any of those non-football freaks out there.

Go Reds! (the T.O. kind, not the Cinci kind (no offense, Votto))
