I've wondered this for a while and never got an answer so I figure I'd ask here.

Why are lines never released for the Patriot League in NCAA Hoops. I realize that it is a very small league but it is Division 1 afterall. I don't understand why a Dartmouth vs Harvard game warrents a line but a Bucknell vs Lehigh game does not. Just wondering if anyone knows a definitive answer as to why this league is never availiable for wagers.

hey blackman,
Im taking a guess, and Ive heard this places but Im not sure. I dont know why the patriot league doesnt have lines, but I guess they have to cut it off somewhere, america east doesnt have lines anymore either. I know that Ivy League, they even have football lines in addition to basketball. Reason being from what I understand, obviously many wealthy and well heeled alumni from ivy schools who like to throw a few bucks or a lot more on their alma mater, so I guess the action warrants them making a line, of course the football quality sucks, hoops does too, but Im pretty sure thats why they make lines for their games, The wealthy boosters and alums wanna bet the games, Later

NY - thanks for the response. That is what I suspected - that the boosters of the IVY league like to drop some coin on their alma mater. Weird stuff, but if their was money to be made I'm sure Vegas would be doing it.

Thanks again,
BM
