Pats Are Best Bet Of The Playoffs

I'm surprised this opening line is only -3. I think the Raiders are in huge trouble Saturday.
First, the Pats have only played one game the last three weeks and should be nice and rested.
Second, the Raiders' defense is horrid right now. The conservative Jets gained 400 yards so I expect Brady and Co. to move the ball nearly at will. Raiders' offense is tricky, but Belecik is an expert at preperaing some defense to slow down good offenses. Hell, even the Rams had a little trouble moving the ball against them. Throw in the cross-country trip and the fact the Raiders have now played a ton of tough and draining games in a row ('Zona, KC, SD, Tenn, Denver, Jets, Jets). Plus, it'll likely be a windy and cold Saturday night in N.E. All adds up to a 27-10 Pats' win in my opinion. If I'm missing something let me know guys. GL to all.

think your right, don't forget Patriots 3-0 last 3 playoff games at Foxboro. Total score of these three games 65-12. I know Raiders won't accumulate 500 + yards against Patriots Defense. Jones & Milloy will punish Brown & Rice on those slant routes Gannon loves.

Agger you are absolutely correct. The team that goes in hot usually goes to the bowl. I have new england winning the super bowl. I have them a 12-1 for 2000-24,000 to win the superbowl. I will definetly put about 20g down on the pats. They will destroy the raiders. The person that made the comment about the east being weak the west was just as bed. Ty law and co will manhandle the raiders. They will bog down that offense. Martz the ram coach feels the pats are the best team they have played all year. It will also be cold and I just see the pats winning big. The 2.5 point line is a gift. The pats are so underrated and they have one of the best coaches in the NFL. Pats big

100% disagree but that is ok. Pats schedule was weak at best! DA RAIDERS are hungry, experienced and catching 3 in my opinion is a gift!

Yoda...I'm not trying to start a war with you. I live in the Boston area and hearedall week on talk radio how the Raiders have this tough schedule and the Pats had such an easy schedule. I went thru both schedules and the numbers are very similiar.

Raiders played 5 games against teams with better than a .500 record (Mia, Sea (2X), Philly, NYJ) SU Record 2-3

Pats played 5 games against teams with better than a .500 record (NYJ (2X), Mia (2X), Rams) SU Record 2-3

Raiders played 2 games against .500 teams
Denver (2X) going 1-1

Pats played 1 game against .500 teams - Denver going 0-1

Raiders played 9 games against teams with less than .500 record
(KC (2X), Dal, Indy, SD (2X), NYG, Cards, Tenn) going 7-2 SU

I'm just having a hard time hearing how the Raiders had the harder schedule and that they should beat the Pats easily. Those numbers are very similiar.

For what it's worth, I'm not putting any money on this game because I'm going to be watching it with my Pats colored glasses and just rooting for them to win.

I agree that Oakland has more experience.

Don't think that the Raiders possible victory will be an easy one, but I feel that it will happen. Have a feeling that Gannon will out perform Brady, it's that veteran thing. My money is on the Raiders +2.5

You have every right to your opinion! That is what this site is all about...sharing ideas! I just donth think the Pats will win and I think they did have a pretty weak schedule, but they did win 5 in a row "I think" coming into the playoffs! I think the Raiders are one of the ebst teams in the NFL in terms of controlling the clock and have the power to get quick scores when needed as well.

I am all over the Raiders and it is just my opinion.....

I will take the 20g and have my future bet alive. Still love my chances with the pats. I think Brady is a better QB than anyone in the AFC. The pats also have the superior coach. Like I always say I will take luck over brains anyday of the week. Sorry all you Raider fans I just hope you all got +3 and everybody wins or tied. The pats are the real deal and will be in the superbowl. I just hope the the eagles beat the Rams so it will be a low line and I can enjoy the Superbowl by taking eagles on the ml and becoming a winner no matter what happens. I do not want to brag but I am now 6-0 in the playoffs. If you want to make some cash tomorrow get down on the ravens and the rams. Six points is way to much to give in a field goal conference. That is all this conference is field goals. The packers historically play so bad in domes this has rout written all over it. I will once again be down with 20g on the games.
