He could just as easily berm motioning for Dion Lewis to come back to the backfield.

Players don't have the authority to reset the play clock. That had to come from the referee.

You're just taking the opposite side for the hell of it.

Turns out he WAS telling them to bump the clock back up because the linesman was still placing the ball back and he's smart enough to know the rules. Most QB's would not have known that, especially Flacco and Harbaugh.
