Pats -135, over 53.5

It seems like every analyst, writer, radio personality, blogger and fan in the universe is picking the Giants in this game.

We keep hearing the same reasons:
--NYG already won at NE, and they did it without Nicks and Bradshaw
--NYG has a better defense and a front four that will pound Brady
--NYG have been much more impressive in the playoffs, winning at GB and SF
--NYG has those 3 receivers; no way can Pats leaky secondary cover them
--NYG has Coughlin and Eli, every bit as good as Brady and Belichick, especially lately
--Hey, it?s 2007 all over again!!

HOWEVER, here are some of the things I see. . .

--Brady will offset the pass rush with tons of no-huddle, as well as a heavy dose of Green-Ellis. That combo should be able to both move the Giants lighter defensive front and get them gassed come the 4th quarter.
--As good as the Giants have been in the playoffs, they were still last in the NFL in rushing and they still allowed more points than they scored in the regular season
--I think Gronk will play and do enough to have at least some impact
--I think the Pats will do more on special teams, and Wilfork is gonna tough to handle on the inside
--Belichick is 13-2 vs. the spread in same-season revenge games
--Think we'll see a lot of points, Indy has a superfast turf, the place is gonna be 100 degrees inside come second half after Madonna's smoke and fireworks

As usual, the Giants can?t stop talking. Whether it?s Rolle?s big mouth, Cruz and his salsa dance, or JPP claiming Brady is scared of the Giants pass rush, the NYG have been downright arrogant. Meanwhile, Brady, who was already fuming over his AFC title game performance, has now had to listen to this BS, as well as have his girlfriend mocked by the NY papers. Get the feeling that Brady will be a cold-blooded assassin in this game. His whole reason for living right now is to win that fourth Lombardi, give it to a heartbroken Kraft for the loss of his wife and to tell the Giants to go fuck themselves before he goes to Disney World.
Pats, 37-31, wouldn?t be shocked to see our first OT Super Bowl, either

Enjoy the game
