I think Pavlik, being influenced by Bob Arum to fight, but NOT risk his titles up to this point has basically ruined Kelly. He is the middleweight champ in name only. I feel he has lost his shine and is not the same guy that burst on the scene a couple of years ago. I think the hunger is gone and this fight will be his swan song as I think he is going to school to learn how to install windows. Williams is the play here and I truly hope I see some good numbers as this is a moneymaker. I would not even be shocked at a KO by Williams as he is very busy and has the wingspan of a condor.

Take away the loss to Hop and Pav is a considerable favorite here. But the fact is he lost nearly every rd to a 43 yr old fighter. PW is a freak of nature and the guy doesn't stop throwing punches. I expected him to beat Wink but I wasn't expecting a totally dominating fight. Personally I think it's a bad match up for Pav. He doesn't need this fight and it's not like the public was clamouring for it. He had better options and more winnable fights IMO. It's a tough pick. I think Pav may open as the slight favorite but I think Williams will be the clear betting favorite by fight time. I kind of like PW in this one. If this were in Vegas I wouldnt miss it.

like williams right off the bat cuz kelly's slow feet

kelly hasnt improved, seems like he's stagnated, prolly same trainer/same routine

his trainer seems like a meathead, doesnt look to do anything new, ok with status quo,

he said for marco antonio rubio fight, they had gameplan b and c, what a joke :mj07:

also there was the rumor he has a drinking problem

need to jump on the odds early, i think everyone and their mother who follows boxing will piling money on williams

I have never really been impressed with Pavlik. I think he's a tough, glorified club fighter, but that's about it. Williams will win this one with relative ease. I wouldn't be surprised to see Pavlik lose every round or take his first knock out loss here. But props to him for stepping up again.

I read somewhere that it's a very nice payday for Pavlik, hence the matchup. If Williams is taking his training seriously, he should be the chalk here. Going to be REAL interesting how this one gets lined. I hate to think this, but it will be a pick em, or Williams the favorite. The oddsmakers aren't stupid. They won't give us an early Christmas present. Williams is the next middleweight champ.

Pavlik hurt his knuckle so the fight is postponed. This mo-fo just ain't ready/don't want this matchup. Williams will carve his butt up!

this dude used to live a lot cleaner

when he pulled out of the mora fight, it was a bs injury excuse too, he had a lot of turmoil

if Pavlik fades out, would there be a bigger bust in recent mem?

the dude had the goods, but you're only as good as your last fight

Kelly has lost "the eye of the tiger". The fire in his belly is just a dim afterglow now. He is shot.

"the bunker"
i think part of it is the fact that he`s extremely one dimensional and he can`t handle certain styles.....

the fights with taylor don`t look as impressive after spinks gave taylor fits and we`ve seen how stupid and un-ring savvy jermain really is...

notice that pavlik went nowhere near the super middle tourney...

True that weasel. Man, I was counting on a juicy payday when PW tore Kelly a new butt-hole. Speaking of Taylor, he is another shell-shocked used to be. I think he likes getting KTFO.
