the land of confusion
Season to date: 18.5 - 13.5 @ 57.8% ----- Bank = $10,562 @ 132%

Not alot of joy to be had here in the latter stages of the season. The system has tailed off badly since peaking 3 weeks back at 236%, dropping 3 of its last 4.
It can't split the Brisbane v Adelaide game but has a lean in the other. Not a big lean mind you but enough to call it a selection. It likes.......
Essendon +19.5 v Port Adelaide
Can't say I'm too excited by this one as I personally think that Port will safely cover the number (more so now that Fletcher is out for 2!!). I'm only willing to throw 10% of the roll at this one as I've suffered too much damage of late.

$1,056 @ $1.85 returning $1,953

:nono: Steer clear folks.......this is something I have to do alone.

I'm goin' in..........

Hope the train gets you to your destination pawa. Will be sweating this one out in the hope that the dons can pull off some sought of miracle and find themselves in what would be a blockbuster prelim against the pies next week. Think they may come up a few goals short though. Both lines for the weekend seem to be pretty spot on though hence making it hard to pick some winners. Buckley and wanganeen for the brownlow for mine. Hope you guys enjoy being able to watch it tomorrow night as I won't have the same luxury:mad: Cristo, you still kicking mate?

Given its recent form, I think your crazy to ride "shotgun" on the express for this trip!! Better to fade this one......

:D

If I don't make it back.......tell the youngsters about their forefathers that blazed the trail before them. Don't let the legacy die. :nono:

Sexlexia...
;)

Still here, bomber. Only barely mind you. Lost our Semi Sunday week ago and spend the following week pretty well...well, no explaination needed really!

No footy bets last week, and none this week either...but leaning pretty heavily towards the Crows.

As for the Bombers....As you said, bomber, the line does look very close. Rain forecast doesn't help your boys, given past performances, but at the same time might not help Port given how they perform in tight, close games.

Just for some reference, Port beat Essendon in this game last year by 24 and Fletcher didn't play on that day either.....Interesting thing is neither did Lloyd ;)

Best of luck with it PAWA.

PS. Because of my week, er, 'away' I still have 5/6 games to watch to complete my Brownlow count.
Want to get it over and done with by Sunday, so it looks like a couple of lazy days ahead ;)

Will definately post any bets I take.....I expect the 'specials' markets will start to appearing on Monday, and these should provide the best oppertunities :p

Don't rate the best player in the comp. a chance, bomber? ;)

There is no doubt that crows are definately the play. This game should be pick em imo. The bookies still rate brisbane far too highly than on their performances.

There must still be huge doubts over voss and i feel that Adelaides ruck division will dominate and give first use of the ball to Ricciuto, bickley. mcleod etc.

Have played Adelaide under 39.5 but also taking the points.

Adelaide +17.5 (5 unit play)

Thats as big play as ill ever post.

Im pretty sure most of the money will come for Adelaide as they are definately overs so im not sure how long 17 points will be around, so if your getting on the crows jump on soon imo!!!

Good luck boys.

Thanks pawa. I saw the forecast the other day, they said about 30 degrees. I suppose the crows dont mind the warm conditions.

Good luck if you decide to jump on the crows mate.

Think Brisbane wins but too many points on offer for the crows. Staying away from this one but good luck to you guys who decide to play it. Should be a cracker of a game and I think the winner of this game is a good thing to win it all IMO.:D

You don't agree pawa. Either team is capable of beating the swans next week and then has a 50/50 shot in the final so I give the winner of this game a shot. Let's just sit back and see how things unfold but I wouldn't discount either team from going all the way:nono:

i agree bomber. Particularly if the crows get up, as history will show that premiership winning teams usually have a full side to pick from. I dont rate sydney as a real show, but they proved most of us wrong last week.

Time will tell.

Swans have beaten Brisbane twice this season and have a weeks rest to play 'em should they advance. As for Adelaide...they have been my 'sleeper' team all year but I'm losing faith with them going off the boil in recent weeks. Christ...my Rooboys rolled 'em a month ago at home!!!
I wouldn't mind if 'the King' got his hands on the cup one more time!!! It's just that they are running out of steam.

Bloody Pies are the serious worry!! I'd have to move out of town if they carry the whole thing home!!! :D I'll be barracking for ANYONE but them!!!

Im with ya pawa! I hate coll, id even be happy seeing essendon win it, just not collingwood. Ill be moving overseas if the pies get up i reckon cos melbourne will be unbearable for the next 10 years. Theyve only recently started to shut up about 1990!

I dont think they will win, i have a feeling that this finals series has a few big suprises in store for us. + dont write of port yet.

With both you guys as far as not wanting to see the pies win the flag-especially as an Essendon supporter. I too could handle seeing the dons win it all Incentive! Pawa, do you give brisbane a bit more of a chance against the swans next week given their form tonight? Would have to be crazy not to as they showed exactly why they are a championship side who can get it done when everything is on the line. On to tomorrow night's clash at AAMI. Looking for a big performance from my boys and if they start the game hot they will be a real chance.:)

Unlucky on your system play pawa. Given a dry night the result might have been totally different but I guess at the end of the day you have to be able to play in all conditions. Hope the system catches firs for you over the last 2 weeks so you can restore that %!
