Pawamech AFL System.....Week #3

The system had a good week last week going 2-0. Hoping to keep it rolling this week.
She likes 3 games this week, the first of which is being played tonight in around 7 hours time (sorry for the short notice to you international guys but I've been busy in this short week!)

So we start with 20% of the $8986.50 = $1800 (rounded up)......and plonk that down on....
Melbourne +6.5 versus Sydney
@ 1.90 returning $3420

Now I can't say that I'm too enthusiastic about this selection but ....... 'a man's gotta do what a system tells him to do'
Melbourne do travel well but Sydney's Hall has tended to run amok against the Demons.

Personally I like Collingwood against Essendon but these ANZAC Day clashes are historically close and tough encounters. Magpies are the better team at this point in time and defensively I think they shut the Bombers down. Better to just sit back and watch them bash the crap out of each other!!!

The second game that Pawamech likes .....is the Saturday night showdown in Adelaide.
She likes Port Adelaide +8.5 versus Adelaide
Now Port Power have tended to own Adelaide in recent times and even though the Crows are a strengthened unit from years gone by and Port have some injury concerns, I don't mind this pick. I'm hoping history can repeat itself once again.

The last game that is selected is the other 'derby' game over in Perth, between Fremantle Dockers and West Coast Eagles. She likes
West Coast over Fremantle off scratch. I really like this one.

So them's the selections for this week. Let's play this out @ 20% of the bankroll (after each game) and see where the chips fall.

Melbourne up by 20 at 3/4 time and then Sydney come out with their best scoring quarter this season and kick 10 goals to 3 in the last to win by 24!!
Dee's within the 6 with 3 minutes to play!! WTF Melbourne??? You guys are pathetic.

With you on the eagles but staying clear of the adelaide game. Was leaning toward the crows but learnt my lesson last week by betting against the system. Hope the system does right by you guys this week. Good luck!

They've now been badly in EVERY last quarter this season...badly in 3 of them......Definately something to watch out for in the coming weeks.

I'm shattered by the dismal display of my Kangaroos tonight .......but at least Port could do the right thing by the system.

System finds good points for both teams. After Richmonds afforts to dispel the 'telstradome' theory!!! Perhaps the Bulldogs can put up a fight. I would stay away from the Brisbane line and go for Geelong and West Coast instead.

Good to have something to hang your hat on when you get rounds like this weekend, where plenty of results were upsets.
