Having spent my intial years funding my accounts via WU, it has been nice these past few months utilizing paypal. Now I've read in this forum were'as their going to discontinue the service for gaming purposes. I know neteller & firepay are out there but don't know anything about them, is anyone using them or experiencing problems? I remember reading a thread on it but could'nt find it. Has anyone heard if another payservice will be implemented or planned in the near future?

I Have used Neteller for years with NO, ZIPPO, NADDA problems!!!! some fees are high, so find a book that will cover some withdrawals (from their end) so the fees won't seem that bad.

i would highly recommend them. however, their customer service department sucks! One time i did a refund on an old debit card and couldn't find that withdrawal. come to find out it was on an old card that was eaten at an ATM machine. my bank sent me a statement 20 days or so later saying that i had a credit on an old card number.

i had emailed and called Neteller 6 or 8 times to deaf ears. i finally got an e-mail address for some big guy who handles refunds and i NEVER heard from him. Sent him a nasty e-mail about how piss poor their service was and STILL NEVER heard from him. just my 2 cents on their customer service.

Thanks for the responses. Jack had mentioned that as of the 15th paypal will no longer allow transfers to gaming sites. I to have had no problems with paypal, based on TJ's experiences, I'll have to investigate changing to neteller.

Many books are getting rid of paypal or it is actually vice versa. Paypal will not act as a proxy for online sportsbooks after their ebay deal. Neteller will fast become the deposit method of choice for many out there. Like they said, the fees suck but it is still cheaper than Western Union and less hassle.

Good Luck

I have heard that Ebay has bought out paypal, so they will now be restricting transactions to gaming sites, which sucks for many of us. I use Neteller and paypal on a regualar bacis, and Neteller needs to raise there limits, as they only allow $3,000 to be deposited each month, and that is not very much for me. I had a huge roll saved up in both paypal and neteller until the past month hit me with the worst cold streak in my life and ended up losing it all plus a boat load more, so was hoping there would be other ways to get around this situation. But as for now, it looks like I will have to stick with neteller.
