Anyone see this movie???

I thought it was all right, the battle scenes were great.

Love story was cheesy, however I must say I really did enjoy the movie because one of my friends kid sisters was in it - James King. My friend Sandy (James sister) I have known since high school and knew in college as well, partied with her all the time. Anyway, Sandy is every bit as good looking as James. James used to party with us a bit too in the old fraternity college days. I found it sort of wierd seeing her on the big screen when about 4 or 5 years ago we were probably tossing quarters into a cup. She is the girl who marries the goofy redheaded soldier. She dies near the end of the movie.

Anyway, I thought that was sort of neat, the movie is worth a watch as well.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I am planning to do so soon. Even with some of the historical innaccuracies, such as the American pilots fighting in the Battle of Britain, a lot more kids will actually know what December 7, 1941 is and maybe even have a new respect and pride in this great country they live in and the sacrifices that were made by our ancestors.

Didn't see the movie but I was @Pearl Harbor and on the Arizona Memorial couple of years back.Being on the Memorial and seeing the beauty of the harbor and picturing the hundreds of warplanes,warships being bombarded choked me up.If any of you guys were out there and been on the Arizona Memorial you can still see oil comming to surface from down below.By far a must see in Oahu.

In a couple of weeks he takes command of one of our newest nucear subs. Yes, he is stationed in Groton, Connecticutt.
