I would be looking forward to it. The offer always stands. If you have anyone coming with you give me a heads up when you can so I can make sure to have enough tickets, won't be a problem.

Where to stay? Downtown hotels sure have the Steelers weekend priced in already. $300-$400 a night. :scared
If I do this I'll probably drive out on Saturday and home Monday morning.
If I stay south of the river the prices are somewhat reasonable and I can Uber to the stadium.

You don't really want to stay "downtown" anyway. Cranberry TWP is north and easy access in and out. Room rates on weekends shouldn't be that bad as it's mostly the corporate types that fill up the rooms during the week.
South is better for entertainment as you have Station Square and probably 100 bars. It is filled with 20 something's these days. IF you stay south of the river UBER to Station Square and take the Gateway Clipper across the river to the game. If you are coming early enough before traffic I can pick you up, we usually get there around 7:00 when the lots open. Assuming we stay in the same lot we were in the last couple years it's pre-paid and we have spots, but traffic is a bitch by 9:00.
The casino is on the North Shore in view of Heinz Field. We do have a sports book now but it's really small. I can get us seats though.
Give me an idea if/when you decide to book a place and I'll let you know if it's a decent place and what's around it.
This place is somewhat reasonable and not too far away and has a bar. The perfect spot for a clean getaway Sunday morning heading south on 79.
