Too much respect for the Huskers?

Saturday night's game will be something like the 5th night game ever at Beaver Stadium. The Crowd of over 100K will be rocking for the national TV show down.

Key points for the game-

1. Penn State had bye last week- In addition I received some information from a contact at PSU who said they spent a lot of time preparing for this Nebraska game in the summer.

2. Penn State has nothing to lose. They are not supposed to win this game.

3. Penn State's only weakness is their secondary and Nebraska is by no means a passing threat.

4. Penn State's D Line can stop the run. 3 future NFL picks on the front line.

5. Nebraska playing 4th game of the year already, first three against weak teams.

6. First game for QB Lord on the road, not to mention on the road in a loud hostile environment.

Penn State could win this game if they do not turn the ball over.

good post

good post

i love the fact that this is at night and on national tv.....as bookiebuster stated, the speed difference could spell disaster here for penn st...but,i have a gut feeling that zach mills is the type of guy who might have a big game in the spotlight....if penn st can stop the run, they have a very good shot(a big if).....i really don`t think this is one of the better nebraska teams....but,how good is penn st?....i`m taking a shot here...

Penn State also helped us by not playing a great game against UCF- although they dominated the game until the end they played very tight- Bettors remember that game since it was on national TV- I love the people that say Nebraska beat ASU, ASU beat UCF, so therefore Nebraska beats Penn State. Different games, different situations.......

If you give Paterno time to prepare for a team it often spells trouble. Please tell me where Nebraska has the edge besides their secondary and possibly special teams? I just do not see it.

Bettors tend to rember the past, Penn State has been below par the last two years where as Nebraska has contended for the National Title. SO!!!!!! This is a new season, new players, new situations.

Bottom line- this game is a toss up, I personally feel the line should be Penn State - 2 1/2 or 3- we shall see, remember no audibles for Lord Saturday night unless they are hand signals it will be very loud with the new two enclosed end zones at Beaver Stadium

and on grass

and on grass

might help negate the speed disparity...we are on the same page..and from what i`ve seen at several consensus sites, the public is running roughly 70-30 on nebraska......that is also a good thing......g.l. to us.

Nebraska is not the powerhouse they once were. Their deffense and running game is sub par.. Their passing game SUX.. This is a good spot for Penn State, and they should take advantage of it.

Penn Stata isa ata huga disadvartaga, b/c they hava only played a onea gamea while Nu has played 3.

They willa nota be sharpa yeta, regardlessa of 2 weeksa to prepara, 3 early gamesa undera the belta is huga this tima yeara.

Neither teama is greata, so I urga you to usa caution.

Just some info for you guys......I am leaning towards PSU, but I came across this info:

Nebraska is 8-0 SU and 7-1 ATS vs the Big 10

In those 8 games they averaged 50.5 ppg

PSU in 2-4 ATS in their last 6 after a bye week

I do not believe in locks or sure things but I am do the following.

Normal play amount for me is 330/300

I am playing 660/600 Penn State +6

I am also playing Penn State ML +180 600/1080

huge consensus on Nebraska, and if Penn STate gets the lead in this game it will be all she wrote if Lord has to throw the ball-

This is my play of the year so far.

Oh yah look for some trick plays from Penn State.
