Trying this early one

Matt Kenseth 18-1

Matt has some unfinished business to do with this car.Took this car to Chicagoland and dominated leading 176 laps of 267.Finished a very disappointing 2nd.Matt finishes at this track are not to impressive finishing 21st 8th and 32nd the last 3 races.Looking back at his last 3 races at Chicago prior to his last finish was 12th 12th and 14th not impressive either.Matt started this chassis 4th at Chicago but was not a impound race like this weekend.Just thinking even if Matt qualifies say 20th his odds will stay the pretty much the same.I`m not willing to take that chance, looking for a decent qualifying effort. At this price and with this chassis he`s worth a early longshot.

Qualifying matchup

Kurt Busch over Micheal Waltrip -115

nice play! I like it. I got burned with him at chicago. He was the best car by far. He is due for a W and has been on a roll.

Thanks toast!

Just a note Carl Edwards the winner in June at Pocono will start at the rear of the field Sunday. He will make it to Colorado Springs Busch race and miss his qualifying effort at Pocono.

I'm taking Johnson for the best shot to win. I'll also take a shot on Edwards because of the odds. As always, I'll have a small bet on Stewart because he's my fav. driver, but I don't think he'll win though.......

armageto,
Johnson crashed his primary car yesterday and goes to back. His backup finished 6th in the Allstar race and 36 at Indy last year. Before the engine expired at Indy, he complained of a real loose car.The car he crashed was much better of the two.

Carl Edwards starting deep in the field you should find better odds after qualifying.

Damn it, I didn't know Johnson had crashed. I already placed a bet on him too. Oh well, hopefully he'll win. I was going to wait on Edwards right before race start to place a bet. This week is a tough one to call........

I'm going from a casual racing fan, to more of a knowledgable nascarian. I like the young guns today, first off. However, of alot of people's picks for the best two racers, Kurt Busch and Ryan Newman are named farely often, however by not the same person for max points, in case of a 1, 2 finish. It seems everyone knows something, but few have been perfect... Sooooooo these are my two guys that people know about, but might not consider when betting.

They're not quite heavy favorites, and they're not the ones that you would pick for value either.

My top 5:
Kyle Busch
Ryan Newman
Kurt Busch
Brian Vickers
Matt Kenseth

Johnson did crash his primary car but will not go to the back. He qualified his backup car 9th.

Thanks for correcting me, I meant to say backup.

I think Johnson will be alright today but I`m not willing to pay 6.5-1

Waltrip and Sadler will start at the back due to working on their cars after qualifying.
