This team has the familiar look of the 2000 Packers. On fire in December after a ridiculous defeat, but too little and too late. I don't see any let up here.

St. Louis(-13) @ 2*
Everything is still on the table for the Rams. Indianapolis may play hard (or they may not), but they will be tilting at windmills. St. Louis wins going away, and that hopefully covers this not unreasonable number.

Denver(Pick) @ 1*
Lots of reasons to like Denver in this always interesting match up.


And now I'll unwisely stick my neck out on the two games that should have a playoff atmosphere:

Philadelphia(-5) @ 1*
Is this the year of the Eagles or the year of the Giants in the NFC East? I think I know the answer. The pointspread is always another matter, but it's not slowing me down here, even though it looks wicked.

Baltimore(Pick) @ 1*
This Ravens team looks incapable of following the road to the championship they took last year, but they appear to be hitting a stride that will have them stoked to take on the "invincible" Bucs of December at Raymond James Stadium. Let's see what they've got.
