0-1 Monday
47-27 YTD

Pepperdine/ Uconn under 162 (3 unit play)

counting on the Husky defense to be the controlling factor in this one. If they can keep the Waves some where in the 60s, as I believe they should, this play should cash. I'm hitting this one pretty hard.

wow risky play.

Thats what makes it so much fun:D

Seriously though, i know that the'll be hoisting them, just don't think that they'll be making them. I think Calhoun takes a lot of that away tonight.

BTW really enjoy your west coast stuff, don't see a lot of those teams so your input is highly valued here.

Spang-see SE Mo covered--any input on mac totals tonite-w mich-dayton-c mich-thanks and GL

I think the numbers are pretty tight on both, I was hoping to get the Miami total at 115 or above for an under play but that ain't happening.
Still, the first one to 50 just might win it.. If dayton can take peavy out of the game Miami just doesn't have a "go-to" guy that can score.

Ct perimeter Defense is as good as ever! It's what they do best! They should be ready for Pepperdine,s 3s.
They are Fast, quick, athletic and they stay in front. If anyone gets by they should kick it out as the 'Huskies once again are leading the country in blocks...10+ and its not just Hasheem. The frontcourt is aggressive and are battling for scarce minutes. Calhoun has sooo much guard firepower that he has 3 in frequently.
This could get ugly!
Calhoun was very pissed off about the last 12 minutes of the St Mary's game. "THE DEFENSE" in particular as they, for the first time this year, took 10 minutes off after building a 29 point lead. I'll bet you see defensive intensity tonight and that will be trouble for Pepperdine. CT D has been holding teams to avg. 55 points and 33% shooting ..28%from 3
Pepperdine, led by sr. guards M Lea (19) and C Griffin 14 will Really have their hands full with fresh rotating defenders all night... most especially Jerome Dyson..their best

Advantages for CT:
1. size
2. speed
3. athleticism
4. home court (Hartford)
5. balanced offense
6. all aspects of defense

CT 92.....Pepperdine 64 .......... Then we'll see if CT can play with the big boys beginning Dec 30 at West Va.

Man, pepperdine does shoot a lot of 3s. Things would be looking pretty good if not for Tomas Pranciliauskas's hot hand. 4-5 from 3 pt. land. I played the under myself. GL.

Just got a call from my son who is at the game and Calhoun is furious ....going through the motions.......heads in their suitcases and ready for Christmas break.......Out to a quick 10 point lead..and finish the half getting beat 10-2 in last 5 min.......................That won't cut it in BE play..
