Now being accused of "cheating" while acquiring the hits record. Funny, but I never saw any pitchers lob anything in to him. The corked bat is also laughable. If he did that he sure did it wrong. What did he have, like 150 or so career home runs??

Cooperstown will never be complete without Pete as a member. Imo at least.

Lets look at his character qualifications:

Liar, adulterer, gambling on baseball, probably fixing games(don't really know, but would bet on it) boozer, drunk in public many times and kept quiet most of the time, autograph pusher for money and authorizes fake signatures because he couldn't sign enough to make enough money to pay his gambling debts. Hell half the Pete Rose signatures out there are forged.

And the fact that he is just an all round scumbag arrogant asshole.
