I've lived on Long island my entire life and commuted to Manhattan for over 25 years. The asshole factor is LARGE and it isn't just golf tournaments. I deal with this shit daily. Is it a cool place to visit? Absolutely. When people tell me they'd like to move here I shake my head. Almost convinced my wife it was time to bail but we just had our first grandchild and wife changed her mind about leaving.

Very typical. New Yorker's are like Texans without the drawl. Give me the west coast or any fly over Midwestern state in a heartbeat. Bunch of narcissistic pigs make the ugly American in Paris look like Cary Grant.

Although Im not a fan of the uneducated morons in our Southern states, I have a strong feeling this type of behavior would not be tolerated in April in Augusta.
