I know this post is late, so for anyone who wanted go against Phil...I apologize. On Mondays, I cant get to a pc til after kickoff.

Anyways...today, on espn radio, Phil was really embarrassed and quite po'd about his 1-3-1 weekend. He asked Dan Patrick to ban him from going with his SD Chargers, as he feels he is their jinx.

He refused to make a selection on tonights game....then callers demanded he make a pick so they could go against him. He still made no official pick, but said he would lean towards Washington +3.

Also...a correction on Phil's overall record.....
Overall 12-13-1
This week 1-3-1

JSMOOTH,

Don't take this the wrong way, but why would you piggyback a golfer when there are professional gamblers here on this site who offer free plays? Mickelson may have hit a great futures bet and he may win money in the NFL but there are guys who post here that make handicapping their full time job.

I do appreciate you posting his plays, but from what you wrote it looks like you are piggybacking them, too, and I just question the logic of doing that.

Another thing about Mickelson -- my perception is he knows lots of names and colleges of guys in the NFL, which may be of great value if he is on your side in Trivial Pursuit but how much is it worth when betting on NFL football?

Plus, Patrick and Dibble worship the ground he walks on, which gives him, in my mind, some unearned credibility.

I don't know jack about golf, but several years ago I hit Tiger Woods to win a major (when he walked away with the Masters as a newbie) for $100 at 10 to 1 -- that doesn't mean I should be on ESPN radio picking golf tournament winners.

Mickelson's big winning ticket on the Ravens last year strikes me as a "blind squirrel finding a nut" more than anything.

And I still say he's a cheap son of a bitch. If I popped close to $1,000,000 and did'nt give the 'boys' alittle taste,I think that is bad.
You guys in Vegas know how many people need tips to help live, and old Phil grabs Baltimore at 35-1 and he ducks outa town .
I hate tight-wads and he goes in my book as one of them. Iknow it's his $$$,BUT!!!
Spankage,over and out..

All golfers are cheap with their OWN cash.Shit appearance money, prise money ,etc. and these guys can't hand out a 'toke' for the boys.
I know these guys grind like hell to get on the tour, but why can't they spread it around.I read a good book about a guy who will play almost any pro (except Raymond and Lee ,etc. as they are hustlers from way back).as the pros collars get real tight as they don't know how to pay,as they are used to someone else paying for this or that and getting huge PGA cheques each week.
The book (igot it in the Gambling Book store in downtown Vegas) does not say who the hustler is ,but it has some great tales. This guy has beat Freddy for some LARGE!!! I just love it...Spankage...
