Gallardo to pitch Game 1 of NLDS

I just heard from the Brewers and Yovani Gallardo will be starting in Game 1 of the NLDS Wednesday in Philadelphia.
Interim manager Dale Sveum will come back with CC Sabathia in Game 2, thus making him available to go twice in the series and pitch a clinching Game 5 if necessary.
Gallardo has pitched just once since tearing the ACL in his right knee on May 1 in Chicago. He went four innings last Thursday against Pittsburgh, allowing just three hits and one run while striking out seven.
Gallardo will be well-rested for the Game 1 start and I'm sure Sveum hopes to get five or six innings out of him before going to the bullpen. Right-hander Jeff Suppan would be on regular rest in Game 1 but has fared poorly against Philly and obviously is being bypassed.
