What a great QB. Watched highlights right after game. Forget the fact he was directly responsible for 3 turnovers. He must have missed a half a dozen throws/reads in the red zone throughout the night. There were two plays he threw to Gates the was double or tripled covered where he had someone else crossing over the middle for a wide open TD. If you get the chance watch the replay to see the crossing receivers reaction to not being thrown to. Rivers had happy feet when it wasn't even necessary??? Listening to the two retired NFL QB talk about the botched snap and not being able to fathom how it could have happened in this situation speaks volumes............I hope Phillip parlayed the side with the total.

Just watched that, unreal if he hit one of those wide open crossing routes whole different game.....
Solid observation...Ive noticed that as well...Gates is a future HOF guy, but hes not the same player, he looks lumbering and old now, foot injury has reduced him into a stopgap, yet PHILIP keeps forc ing the ball to him....they are dysfunctional right now
