I have a question that has been making me think, why is there such a thing as "Luck" or is it just a term? Is there really a thing as "luck" or "badluck" ?? Or is it our good or bad choices?? For instance, lets say I pick games on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays, and I lose 5 weeks in a row, and my friend plays on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays, and during that same time, he loses only one week out of the 5. Who's to say if I gambled the same days he did, I would have done great like he did?? Now, if gamblers who had my 5 week losing streak will probably tell other gamblers that losing 5 weeks in a row is badluck. But was it really bad luck or was it really me making bad choices??? It doesn't seem logical when you really think deep down that it can be both badluck and bad choices right?? If it was, then what's the difference between badluck and bad choices??? Isn't the outcome the same for both....so in essense, isn't there, as I mentioned, no difference.
Whether you think there's a difference or not, can you tell me what your opinions are and why please. I kind of see this more as a philosophical question as much as a gambling question...and would appreciate all points of views.
