You come over like that.WOW !!
Yes you should have covered last night. But welcome to a world of sports betting where you WILL suffer the 'bad beat'. It is and always will be part of the sport.. You are TOTALLY wrong getting pissed at us that posted G.Bay as a solid play.
They were lucky to cover,no doubt, But they DID,plain and simple.
Have you never had a 'cheap' cover ??? Comon man, we all have..
Ithink you were way out of line dumping on G.Bay players . Maybe you should refrain from 'playing' for a week or two if you can't learn how to accept a loss(I know it was a tough one man).
Good luck and I hope you can deal with such things happening, without dumping on us winners....Spanky......

read the whole damn post before shooting your mouth off spankme. I could care less about the bad beat last night, it's chump change compared to the season and fully expected. i'm not explaining myself again but thanks for proving to me that you are the baby others have said. real class rubbing a play in Ray's face then trying to appear here as the 'hero'

I don't think that that's at all what he was saying, spanky.

IMO, he wasn't at all 'pissed' at GB bettors. I can't understand why you would take it like that. The people that dissented did so because of the way that he phrased things (cappers vs gamblers), not that he was bitching about a 'bad beat', which this game wasn't to begin with.

If you could, for one moment, suspend your spasticity (is that a word?), and actually read what was written, I think that you would agree.

Yes.

Phoenix, REALLY ,REALLY tough loser you are . Grow up or just QUIT 'playing',you don't seem to avoid the narcosis condition your brain is stuck in.
Yes, I got confussed 6 weeks ago(with Ray-,but without your mouth ,we dealt with it)
I guess your Oedipus situation would assist in recalling that situation.
God bless you and your pallium,I think your brain has gone a tad quaggy perhaps to the regaltion of the few cells you have left.
Salaam to you my friend, and please stop the scarification.I suggest you have a small tincture and send an aerosat around your pea-brain in hopes to grasp the'real' meaning of Sport Investment.
Get some help ,Slick, you are in dire need of it......SPANKY........

i agree....do not make new threads trying to look smart Spanky.....obviously that was the intent of this thread....

i was one who disagreed with Pheonix and did not feel the need to start a new thread about it so that i could call attention to myself and he as well.....you can do that in the appropriate thread and creating another one to prop yourself is unnecessary.....

upon thinking about it, Phoenix's point had a little validity in it, but in no way was he complaining about a bad beat.....

I Used G.B. as a Lock and Load game, and I HONESTLY feel that Jack. should have covered the number EASY.
THats it plain and very simple, I just feel ,AND KNOW ,it was a bad beat for Jack. players. That is MY POINT...
SPANKY/..........Phoenix,if you and your little 'crew' can't find value in playing teams-3 1/2on the road, you are fools that you come over as to us all it is true. You better put in many, many more years into your handicapping, and then come back and look at your moronic and laughable slanders.
Go do some REAL homework, then you can sport a record like mine for the last two months. So make you car payments and worry about your 9to5,before you keep looking like an idiot, just because you are jealous of the people that DO KNOW when to make a 'big move' on a game.
Just stick to being that laughable little man you are, and keep saying'Oh boy,I should'nt bet this game, but I will anyway' and if it losses, just blame it on the world.

not only have you proven that you are a baby, but I guess you are also showing us that blind squirrels can sometimes find many acorns. If you think laying 3.5 points on the road is worthy of a lock and load play, I truly have pity on you and hope that Tony does not break your legs when he comes to repo your shit one day. may you rest in peace you worthless excuse for a vibrator.

On the course!
If I may, I would like to ask a handicapping question. (You guys do remember that this forum is about gambling, right?

What is the rule of thumb for picking a road favorite? Do you ever do it? Is 3' a "bad" number for any specific reason? Is there ever any value in a road favorite, or do you stay away from them all together?

I really want to know the school of thought on this.

Phx, keeps saying that laying 3' on the road will take you to the poor house. Is it that number, or what is the factor that it's based on? This is something I never heard of before, and really want to know if there is some actual study behind this, or if it is one man's opinion.

Any help would be nice.

If I may intrude into this productive thread... Calm down guys, we're here to help each other win and discuss good bets. I've gotten into these discussions/arguments before and they're extremely pointless.
1) If you're going to argue, exchange phone numbers so the arguments will be shorter and kept off these message forums
2) Do you guys really hate each other or are yall just bored at work?
3) I'm here to read stats and get info on games that I may not know and I've started not to bother to read a lot of these threads because all they are are bickering at wins/losses and I think that takes away from the whole forum itself.
So please, as rodney king once said,
"can't we all just get along?"
GL TO ALL-- let's picks some winners!!!

Laying 3.5 on the road is usually not a good play. That, I think, is well known and is not just one man's opinion. That's not to say that those plays never win, but a lot of times you need some luck to cover that number on the road.
I also thought that Phoenix's last thread had some validity and had hoped that all the bickering would have been left in there.
