Jack, the files do not appear to be in the correct format. They both have .eml extensions and I don't know what that is. When you click on the files blank pages open. One should be .xls and the other .txt. I'll resend you the files to first e-mail address, since maybe aol messed them up somehow.

.eml extentions are extentions used by Microsoft Outlook

I dont think you can open them with Outlook express though.....

after opening up that FTP site... all I see are the two email messages you must have sent jack. Just zip the files and send? I have no clue... just my 2 cents

Phoenix When the wrote those "for dummys" publications I was whom they had in mind.
I down loaded it ok but when I tried to open program it says does not operate in DOS mode.Now I know what DOS is but can't figure out why it doan loaded in DOS?

Not really sure what the problem can be. I know the program will only work under Windows so if you are trying to open it in DOS it won't work.

If that message is coming up after you double click on the program in Windows, I am stumped. Perhaps someone else here can help.

Phoenix.... I'm having the same problem with this version.... Says can't run in DOS mode.... And thats from double clicking it in Windows...

All your other ones worked fine but not this one...

DTB which version of Windows are you using??

I just downloaded and experienced the same problem. Something must have changed the format of the file. Windows thinks it is a DOS program, so it is trying to open in DOS, which it will not.

I did not do anything differently sending this version to Jack so I am very confused what is happening. I'll try and send the program to Jack one more time and we will see what happens.

Phoenix... could you please email me a copy... I formatted my computer and lost your email address...

Also maybe you could just zip the file up and keep it a regular zip file and not make it self extractable... And then give it to Jack... then there shouldn't be any problems opening it up...

something still might be up. it downloads ok but when i try to open it up in stuffit or winzip i get a corrupted file error.
