Piacenza vs Verona

two teams facing each other this Sunday, both need a point to be safe from relegation, provided that Brescia don't win Bologna by a big margin. Bologna themselve will want the points for their Europe qualification.

Have they agreed to play for a DRAW????????????????????

while a draw is possible, it's most likely not fixed:

if they draw and Brescia wins (by any margin, goal difference not relevant in Italy) then Brescia and Piacenza will play an additional game on neutral ground.

So I believe Piacenza will try to win, but if it's still a draw after 70 minutes they will probably settle for it and not take any risks as they are at least guaranteed a play-out game as long as they don't lose.

You don't get more than evens for fixed draws in Italy :p if your book is carrying Serie B, try to find Bari-Cosenza or Cagliari-Como. Those two are probably fixed draws.

yes, all four could finish with 40 points, in which case their head-to-heads would matter. The worst two teams in this separate table of four will then play the relegation match ('spareggio').

If two teams finish with the same number of points, they will play a sparregio regardless of their h2h record.

Additional games are used to decide on relegation, UEFA Cup and Champ. League places, and championship. So if Bologna and Milan both win today they will also play a spareggio to decide on the 4th Champions League spot.
